I start to have a little more time to do thing outside of working and i was wondering if i could make a cool thread on TL. There is a really awesome Brood War thread that is the "Cool and unusual" Starcraft games.
I wondered if it would be possible to do so in SC2 but i have bad memory and don't rememebr all the crazy games i saw or ... when i saw them in what tournament they were.
I'm looking for a set of cool and unusual game just to see if there's enough material to do a thread. Or maybe... There is already a thread but i didn't find it (or forget it).
I don't want to see the best games. Just unorthodox things that makes Starcraft an awesome game. Of course i'm only talking PRO games.
Stuff i can remember that was cool and unusual (but don't have the game are for exemple).
- The Scarlett game in HotS where she goes full infested terran (i think it's a 2014/2013 game). - The HappY game in WCS Europe ? where the two players have like 10 supply each other. - There is a TLO game in WoL i think on metalopolis where he goes hatch/evo in the wall of a Terran and breaks him with it. - Scarlett playing protoss against DRG (this one i think i can find)
If you know what games i talk about (or if you have other stuff like that feel free to post), please post them in here.
I didn't want to open the thread now and have zero content on it. This games can be WoL Beta, WoL, or HotS.
In my opinion The Soo vs Yoda game in recent SPL (this i can find) is "this thread material". It's not a good game but i don't think i remember to ever saw a full Sky Zerg game (well... it's in the lategame but it was a real full sky zerg).
Has canon contain into proxy tempest is another game that i think qualify (vs MMA on .. some map. Damn i watched this game last week and already forgot the map T_T)
Another game that could qualify is the Zest vs herO game 7 (i think) of the KespA cup with the proxy on the ramp and the elimination race the comes to a sentry. So i think nailbiting games qualify.
What i wonder if this qualify or don't qualify is Flash vs Bbyong from the SANDisk Shoutcraft. It was a reeeaaaallly good game but it wasn't THAT unusual (orr maybe it is because they basicly took close then long spawns).
Is creating this kind of thread a good idea ? Do you think there's enough materials ? I don't really know how to make sure the games are labelled as cool and unusual because making a poll for each game seems tedious (but i don't see another way to do so).
TL;DR
I hope there's not already a thread for this or i will look like a complete fool.

Oh okay. I failed to find it. Thx templar. will post in this at the occasion. The BW thread is a gold mine. SC2 should have that too. Or maybe people don't care about that kind of thing

Are you talking BW ? 'cause the only map i remember called DMZ was a weird Brood war map. with a star of mineral in this center. Surely a PL map.
EDIT : hahaha found it. That was the map with the DW for 2vs2. I also find the DMZ version of SC2 (nothing comparable). I don't remember a lot of unusual games in GSTL but it's been a lonng time
