On another note, why not just find something that the community needs and do it? SCII has a lot of writers from what I gather but there must be something else that the community needs (maybe player bios or BRs etc...). Let your imagination soar! :D | ||

I'm not an amazing writer or anything (though I'm sure I would improve), I'm really not sure what I could do. I want to do something for esports but what that is I don't really know since I have no real skills  | ||

I mostly hang around the BW part of TL so there's always stuff to do. I guess there's very little I can do Then start simple: write a battlereport blog about one of you own SCII games (or BW if you've played some before). Basically, talk about the game. Make it sound exciting! Make us feel your struggles! your triumph! etc... You can see my blogs for some examples. Templar has some as well, Stratos had a couple of nice BW BRs and a lots of other TL members write them. Once you make one, work on getting better at writing them and translate that over to recaping tournaments or something. That should be a good start imo  edit: Also, LP always needs work so you can always do that! | ||

But there's a lot of things left to do if you look beyond that. For example updating player pages. Most of the articles about players are outdated to varying extents. I looked at MMA's page for example, and there's not details about his career in 2014. Personally speaking, I randomly volunteered last year for NASL's production of the WCS America Season 2 finals and I haven't done anything since; And I'm more than okay with that, because although I COULD be doing more, and COULD have done more since then, at least I did something. Not trying to be religious here, but have you ever heard of the bible story where Jesus witnessed a poor woman contributing a very small amount of money comparatively to the rich donations? The intention, heart, spirit of the action, whatever is good. Even if you think making an edit on Liquipedia is only a small drop in the bucket, it's one drop more than before. | ||

YOU HAVE THE WHOLE INTERNET TO GATHER INFO FROM Who cares if you can't write as well as you want to, or if you're not as knowledgeable about the scene as you want to be? Write to the best of your ability and figure out what info you need to update a player profile. If you screw up that badly, someone will tell you why you were wrong and you can learn from it. Moping about not being good enough wont help you become good enough. Sometimes I want to hug you SGTK. Sometimes I want to slap you, though. | ||
