I agree it's not the correct solution. But rather than offend someone else's solution, why not propose what you'd do? It's easy to critique without bringing any of your ideas into play.

If you are that disgusted pay the guy yourself. Thats how it works in the real world. Shit happens and Im not going to lose sleep over it. This is esports, its still very much like the wild wild west. You know DK still havent been payed for winning WPC from last year?

Is this a joke ? I guess people are getting really bored till TI4 comes.

So your solution is that we should never do anything? And if organizations want to launder money, not pay players, scam, etc... We should just let these organizations be successful in the scene because hell, it supports esports?

Pretty much, this shit is what killed sc2.

Don't even try and start that. And there was not one single thing that "killed" SC2.

And there was not one single thing that "killed" SC2. The drama train did not help it at all. This is grown up land, people can stick up for themselves and we can support them in doing so. But going crazy full drama on the team because one kid is out $75 is not a good response.
Fuck, I miss State of the Game.

Only 5 people I know from team empire is resolution vanskor silent alwayswannafly and mag. So when I say I support empire to win or whatever, I'm only concerned about these guys. I'm not supporting the company or brand, I'm just rooting for the players.
Heck I don't think anyone in the scene supports organisations, and not players. The old mym were very big and popular. But no one cares that much relatively about the danish stack just because they are wearing that brand. If the entire squad of dk got replaced by say speedgaming.cn, would you still support this new dk squad? Or would you support the former dk team that maybe called themselves team imba or something.
While its good to highlight bad stuff that happened in the organisation, this has absolutely nothing to do with the players or ti4. No need to condemn or hope for shitty performances from the players.

Why are people using the word 'scammed' in this discussion? They may have been negligent or lazy with the payout, but considering how big of an org Team Empire is, so readily accepting a missing 75$ streamer cheque as a 'scam' is rather ridiculous. The only thing even more ridiculous is trying to get more people to boo the DotA squad of Team Empire at a tournament over this.
