Recently I built a computer with my friends. At first I pm-ed Myrmidon asking for his help in building the computer and he sagaciously directed me to the Computer Builds thread. In there I got a LOT of help from SkyR, who was more than just helpful to me. I eventually got the parts list together and got the computer to be around the price-range I wanted, and by me, I mean SkyR did it while I freaked out LOL. After finally getting everything to work out money wise, I bought all the computer stuff. After doing that, my friends screamed at me because I fucked up and bought some parts that didn't match (I didn't use my brain when reading what SkyR wrote, and screwed up by not buying a wifi-card and by not getting the right sized case); all my bad, yo. I rectified this by putting in an RMA for the parts I needed to send back and bought some new parts. It all worked out in the end when it came to the parts.
Building the machine was a whole nother story. My friend, a guy I've known forever, hasn't seen me very often for the past 4 years. To catch up with him, I thought we could build a computer together, and by together I mean let him do it and I'll keep my Chihuahua from humping his leg. Along with this friend (We'll call him friend A). So friend A comes over while I pick up another friend, a guy who I know through debate, friend B. Together, we build the computer... ok friend A did while we joked around and friend B made sure nothing went wrong. Eventually another friend comes over and friend A leaves, so we end up building the computer together from there on and realize friend A did a bad job managing the cables. Anyways, we get the computer built and life is hunky-dory.

Recently my life has been a lot different than normal. I've had a lot more free time. Apart from going from silver 5 to 1 in like a month and a half now that I can play league for more than a game a day, I also have had a lot of time to read. I'm stuck now because I don't actually like some of the books I'm reading, but hell, I'll read them anyways, why not. Right now I'm on Tristes Tropiques (not a novel, but I'll give it a shot) and I'm attempting to read Lolita without puking. I'll read The Horseman on the Roof after those two, and then Witz by Joshua Cohen. I just got Witz in today, and it's gonna be... interesting... yeah. I've heard that it's another one of the big three post-modern epics, and I read Infinite Jest, so gotta catch 'em all right? I'll read Gravity's Rainbow afterwards hopefully . I also got a really short haircut, considering how I looked before with my really, really long hair. My hair is actually kinda Artosis-y now.
Before doing the normal X# of posts blog and thanking everyone, I wanna mention my dog real quick. His name is Pinky, a non-neutered chihuahua, a name given to him by my little sister when we rescued him. I take him for a walk every day, and he is always a little bastard about them; he never wants to go where I do, and he'll point his ears back, lower his butt, and then refuse to walk forward if he wants to stay somewhere. He never fucking barks at strangers, only at us when he wants a walk (and by us, I mean me). He annoys me for walks, constantly, and when I want to take him on one, he wants to go as far as possible, then take a nap in the middle of the walk, then continue. I love this dog though, he's hilarious. We have a myriad of nicknames for him: Private Pinkers, Pinker's Privates, The Red Rocket (in honor of his dick, because... well... it's red/pink and it was just something that one of my brothers thought of at a family gathering), El Pinkador, The Pinkers, Pink Pink, Pinkerton, The Pinkman, you name it, we've probably said it. He's a manly, manly dog.

Now for the thanking .
- Micronesia: You've been an enormous help to me, and a great guy. You've given me college advice, pm advice, even Proust advice, and I admire you for all of that, thank you.
- Shady Sands: Your a writer dude, and it was really cool of you to talk to me over skype about the playwriting and such, even with never meeting me in real life. Your blogs are fantastic btw.
- Babylon: I only got to talk to you briefly about college stuff, but what you said helped a lot .
- AuirZ: Your poetry advice, along with poetry book advice was something that really got me more into poetry than before, and into writing in general. Also, you've got a Protoss name, so you know which race is best race.
- There are a lot of people I want to thank, like all the guys in the ABL, and in the Dating, How's Your Luck thread that I interact with. Guys like Azera that I don't tend to run into because they have real life stuff, but still make blogs that I enjoy. If I didn't mention you by name, I sowwie , have a sheep.
Thanks for reading guys, I know it's a different style of blog, hopefully I pulled it off (like I hope I pull off my new hair).
