I have really liked mindgames since I switched to sc2 (around release) like no queen roach push and many others.
Lately I've been thinking for that it would be fun to use really underused units and/or build for the sake of beeing annoying. Or well not exactly annoying but cant really find a better word for it. If I recall correctly NewbieMcNasty did this with vultures waaay back when they were underused and considered a newbie units.
My plan is to select a suitable unit or possibly a unit combo that is weird bordering silly, practice it quite a lot and tweak it a bit until I become really good at it. It doesent really have to be even remotely viable since you'll get 50% wins anyway, I'll be doing it since it should be a interesting challange.
So to sum it up, I'd like to get some suggestions on what I should go for. Also if you have done something like this I'd like to hear it.

Zerg? I really hate those Swarm Hosts, maybe dump them in some random positions :p. Combine with some Infestors or Brood Lords for a constant free unit parade.

Well I'm open to try any race for this really. Does not have to be zerg but zerg is ofc my best race. Protoss is by far my worst but I can play all.

Terran: Widow Mine/Reaper/Banshee/Medivac
Basically harass like crazy with Widow Mine Drops and Reapers. Defend with Widow Mines while building up Banshee fleet.
Protoss: Immortal/Chargelot/Warp Prism
Void Rays for anti-air if needed
Zerg: Swarm Host/Infestor/Roach/Overseer/Nydus Worm
The Roaches are for Roach drops, the Overseers are for Contaminate (have fun with it  ), Swarm Hosts can make up the bulk of your main army (and place them in weird locations too), and the Infestors are for Infested Terran harass.

Interesting but maybe a unit too much in the T and Z suggestion. Didnt think about that I could use common units in a bit of an unusual way too.

Just mothership rush as protoss every game. Guaranteed hilarity when they see it, even if it isn't as good anymore.

mass raven is my go-to troll strat when i'm playing custom games or FFAs
You still need marines in the early game to not die to a competent opponent, but its quite lol-worthy when you reach a certain number of ravens.

If you want to use common units in an unusual way...
Mass Vikings. Depending on your opponent's army, land a few (if they go mass air too), land half (if they have a mix), or land all of them (if they have a pure ground army).

This one seems really promising. The "wtf is this guy doing" level is high as well.

As Terran, some good ideas might be: early marauder pushes, old marine+hellion fast push...
As zerg: early baneling+ling allin against terran and protoss, wierd roach timings are fun too...

well hydras were really underused in WoL....still a bit underused in hots imo. They are a kickass uniuut that isnt used as much in tvz as they shuold be
