The rat attractor plant was a success, and the player characters convinced the rest of the dungeon to go to war with the criminals as they were being attacked by rats. With this advantage, they managed to defeat the criminals, making sure none escaped, covered the entrances to the surface, and burned down the surface buildings above the criminal hideout. There were some other antics, having to do with chasing down rats, eberwein getting his head stuck in a pipe then using it as a rat scoop and so on.

Otherwise you should expect the plot to be more centered on the other persons, simply because i don't have anything to work with for you.

To clarify the situation a bit: Like I said earlier, I need to do weekly stuff, that has to be handed in every Monday at 9 and I need to have a certain amout of (accumulated) points at the end of the semester. At the beginning I didn't really get the results I would have liked, because I was distracted here and also had other stuff, so I needed/need to catch up a bit. Skipping the night from Sunday to Manday has helped a bit, but I can't really do that long term either, so I might need a few Sundays to get everything in order. My university has one week break from 10-16.6, so the 2 sundays after tomorrow I will very likely be able to play again (I should be able to confirm that on Monday). After that I hope to be in a more comfortable position again, but for now I have to prioritize that stuff.

Apparently everyone got his research founded by the same guy who is at least english, french, dutch, spanish and austrian. And there is something involving brain extraction going on involving them as research subjects. So they obviously set the whole place on fire. Which as it turns out isn't that unusual because the Department of Irradiation at that place seems to be doing that every few weeks. Anyways, long story short, Prof. Dockerty, Johann Hausen and Geert vaan der Wies are now on a tropical Island. There might be natives. There definitively are genetic abominations from the Department of crazy Mutations running amok in the Lab, at least until Scruffy the Mad Janitor fixes stuff up again. The doors are broken too, and the Zeppelin with supplies is scheduled to arrive in a week. In regards to your characters, i think if you are unhappy and wish to change something now that you have played them for a session, feel free to do so. If you come up with cool aspects, that might also be helpful. As to Jack and Finn, it would be nice if we could find a way to make characters during the week, because i kind of don't want to do this again next Sunday while the others are really bored because they have theirs done. I can send you the ruleset, which is quite similar to FATE Core, via skype if you wish me to. Then we could either do stuff via PMs or find half an hour to do characters beforehand? We should also probably talk about Campaign scheduling. I think we have an ok stopping point for Monsters, having accomplished one of the major goals, so maybe we should swap over to Mad Science completely? That would also make it a lot easier to deal with Jacks 2 day notice situation, because i know that i have to have stuff prepared each sunday, and not just lazy off till saturday to see if Jack will be there or not. And i am kind of wondering how stuff looks with Andrew now, i kinda forget to ask during play, but wasn't there talk about having to switch to saturday or something due to australia being on the wrong side of the globe? Is this happening or not?

Edit: if y'all want to switch to mad science stuff instead or monsters, then I'm ok with it, it was a fun idea, but I think it needed some work ultimately. Not to mention me being GM when my schedule is so inconsistent is not really a good idea.

We managed to beat up the steam armored dudes enough for them to concede, Webber captured James Henderson, the scientist who wanted to extract our brains, and with him thoroughly restrained we were also able to convince him to stop chasing after us. Since neither of us talked to the rest of the group about this I guess I could tell you that professor Dockerty, my englishman, and Finn's character Motke who's German, both separately got pulled aside by countrymen of theirs to discuss something out of earshot of the others. We went and talked to a couple of managers as well, and got assigned to continue our work for the department of experimental tunnel building, which now resides in a broom closet on level 6 if I remember correctly. In order to apply our different sciences toward this project we went back to the department of very experimental mutations, and found a lab we could borrow if we manage to clear out the previous occupant's experiment, which had eaten said scientist. To do this we procured some more experimental weapons, which were ultimately used to finish the job. It turned out to be a large creature mimicking a smaller lab inside the large one. It nearly took Motke's legs and Webber out, but in the end we managed to pull free and destroy it in a somewhat safe way.
