I am NemesisTrestkon. I used to just visit this site just to take a gander at the forums and the livestreams going on. So after days of visiting the site, maybe it's high time I write something over here. Though what I do have to say isn't very interesting in the slightest to most of you. But what the heck...
I've been playing Starcraft II for around 2 years now by April. I quit playing the game for a few months due to other commitments like work and other kinds of video games. Ever since then, I have grown a bit rusty on a few placement matches but eventually I managed to make it to Silver league in WoL (which isn't too bad, for me at least). Learning the metagame in Starcraft was just way too stressful most of the time, considering that RTS games were hardly my bread and butter in terms of multiplayer. But I just keep coming back to it due to the satisfaction I'd get whenever I'd win a match or the hope that I would win a match.
So far, I have gotten the basics that is macroing as Zerg, where I usually just drone the heck up and make units the moment I know what I am up against and only make units depending on what I see. And by make units, I mean "spawn zerglings and banelings and mutalisks". I have held my own against Terran players and some Zerg players as well. Though I can barely even last against Protoss. I won't call them OP since they do have their downsides. It's just I have had trouble fighting Protoss troops head on which is why I tend to resort to attacking their bases instead which always ends up into a friggin base race.
Anyways, that's all I can say for now. See ya and I hope I'd learn a lot about Starcraft and more from you guys!
Playing on the ladder got so stressful for me and so now I only really play custom games. I enjoy following the metagame, but more as a spectator and fan now.
Welcome back. I have taken a break myself for about half a year. I don't have the time to play SC2 anymore but am still a big fan. There's something about the community that just makes it impossible to leave it behind.

The first taste is always free (After the 60$ initial investment). But hey, welcome back!
