Backstory:
Me and a friend from work decided to buy newest pokemon game out (Black and White 2) and play it for the lulz. It quickly escalated to a Pokemon Battle to decide the very best office pokemon trainer, scheduled for the end of November. Here are the rules we both decided on:
6 v 6 Pokemon Battle Rules:
+No Legendaries
+Sleep Clause (can only put one pokemon to sleep on opponent's team)
+No Duplicate Pokemon (eg. can't have 2 Charizard)
+No hacked Pokemon (unless you manage to catch a legit perfect IV'd pokemon lol) - Moves must all be learnt legit (Charizard can't know Hydro Pump etc)
Fair enough I thought, no mention was made of any tier class etc that I remembered from past TL pokemon battle blogs I enjoyed reading, she's probably just a casual and this should be easy win. I'll just EV train my pokemons and breed them for semi-decent IV and sweep her team for an easy win.
BOY WAS I WRONG!
Today at work I learnt that she managed to breed a Hydreigon with perfect IV in Hp, SpA and Speed, and will be running a special sweeper set. SO not only does she know which pokemons are good, but she knows about EVs, IVs, how (and the patience!) to breed them. Shit just got very real. I did my research and quickly browsed www.smogon.com for stronger team ideas, however it seemed like that site was more for perfect simmulations with only perfect pokemons and set tier class. Not quite as applicable in this scenario. Thus I come to TL in hopes of drawing upon the varied expertise of its members to help form the most OP team/combos to help me claim the title of the very best pokemon office trainer!!
My Team (so far) + Show Spoiler + Name: Tyranitar IV: 31/31/20/7/25/29 EV: 112hp - 252 atk - 8 Def - 138speed Nature: Naive Ability: Sand Stream Item: Leftovers Moves: Stealth Rock/Earthquake/Stone Edge/Crunch
Name: Excadrill IV: ??/31/??/?/??/29 EV: 8hp - 252 atk - 248 speed Nature: Bashful Ability: Sand Rush Item: Life Orb Moves: Sword Dance/Earthquake/Rock Slide/X-Scissor
Name: Chandelure IV: 17/5/10/25/25/25 EV: 56hp - 252 SpA - 202speed Nature: Timid Ability: Flame Body Item: Leftovers Moves: Flamethrower/Shadow Ball/Pain Split/Substitute
Name: Garchomp IV: To be caught EV: 4hP - 252atk - 252speed Nature: Jolly Ability: Sand Veil Item: Choice Scarf Moves: Outrage/Earthquake/Dragon Claw/Stone Edge
Name: Ferrothorn IV: To be caught EV: 252 HP - 88 Def - 168 SpD Nature: Impish Ability: Rough Skin Item: Leftovers Moves: Spikes/Leech Seed/Power Whip/Protect
Name: Hydreigon IV: To be caught EV: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Nature: Modest Ability: Levitate Item: Choice Spec Moves: Draco Meteor/Focus Blast/Flamethrower/Dark Pulse
Her Team (that I know of) + Show Spoiler +13th November: +Has perfect IV in HP/SpA/Speed Hydreigon +Has been breeding Ghastlys (chance of using Gengar high) +Is fond of Escavalier and Froslass I'll update this as I acquire more information about her team
So I have a loosely based Offensive Sandstorm team, with the goal to set up sword dance with Excadrill and sweep, with Garchomp waiting in the back to revenge kill. I got Ferrothorn to tank any hits and to set up hazards with Tyranitar. Chandelure is there purely to shore up weakness against Fighting/Ice types but still with the ability to hit back behind Substitute. However knowing my co-worker has a Hydreigon is making me think of swapping to a Starmie with BeamBolt set and maybe even be my Rapid Spinner as I'm still lacking one.
don't even know if what I just said made sense LOL, it's just the accumulation of knowledge gained after 2-3 hrs browsing smogon.com lol. I'm open to any suggestion so long as the pokemon/move set is relatively easy to obtain, I don't mind breeding for perfect IVs but only on maybe 3 stats, no more. I'm currently on White 2 and have another DS with Pokemon Black on it. I also have about 5k points on DreamWorld but rather not spend all my time grinding pts till 10k unless it's deemed absolutely essential =s
TLDR: Help me be the very best pokemon trainer in the office!

Dunno what you should do though :c

You don't need necessarily two really strong special attackers, maybe swap one of them out out of a special wall, maybe a jellicent or vapoeron to soak up special attacks? If you keep the evil chandelier thing you don't need lefties and pain split, maybe swap out the lefties for a life orb or the pain split for a type coverage move?

Oh, my, that Ttar... Ideally, you'd want to have a much more defensive spread. Consider replacing Earthquake and Stone Edge with Fire Blast and Superpower/Ice Beam. Fire Blast is another of the trillion checks in existence for Ferrothorn. as well as Scizor. You'd probably want Superpower over Ice Beam because of the Attack EV's, but it's an easy way to scare a Hydreigon off. Should be a move tutor move, I think? Also, you have two other pokes currently with Earthquake, you can afford to drop it here. If she has a Dugtrio, don't keep Ttar out.
Bashful Excadrill is unfortunate, but if you can give him a free switch-in, he should be able to get the job done anyway. If she has a Conckeldurr, get this guy the heck out of there.
145 SpA is nifty and all, but Chandelure is very slow and very fragile. Chances are good she'll have something that walls it, or she'll just kill it with Hydreigon or Gengar. I'd consider replacing it with something faster. If you have 4th gen games, a mixed Infernape could be effective. EV's 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe Naive (Ideally) Life Orb Overheat Close Combat U-turn Stone Edge/Mach Punch
This set will take care of any grass and steel type she may use. You can use Stone Edge if you think she may use some flying types, like Dragonite or Salamence, but since she has Hydreigon, she likely won't have another Dragon. Priority stab is great, especially when it's a fighting type. I would use it over Stone Edge. Also, another thing to put the slay on Hydreigon. U-Turn is a move you use for free scouting and chip damage, more or less. When the opponent is clearly going to switch into something that can kill Infernape, just U-turn out and you get to switch in whatever you want to deal with it.
Choice Scarf on a Sand Veil Garchomp is questionable. The whole point of Sand Veil is to abuse the evasion. Put some leftovers on it, and drop Outrage for Substitute. You can also drop a second move for Swords Dance, and just smash everything with Dragon Claw while you hide behind your sub. Be sure pokes she has that will have ice moves (froslass)are dead or not currently switched in so you can get the sub up. There is a chance Hydreigon could be scarfed. It's a bit archaic now, but it's an option. Figure out what item Hydreigon has so you don't get surprise Draco Meteor'd.
Anyone that knows what they're doing will have a thousand different ways to deal with Ferrothorn. Impish is a good nature for him, but I'd suggest swapping him out for something else. If you do decide to keep it, replace Protect with Thunder Wave.
Never did like Specs on Hydreigon. I would suggest a mixed set, but it's Modest, so that would be awful. I would suggest either an Expert Belt or a Choice Scarf on Hydreigon. One particular use for a Scarf Hydreigon in this situation is that it gives you something besides Excadrill that can outspeed Gengar and kill it with a super effective Dark Pulse. However, Hydreigon can also be a pain to deal with when it's not locked into a move.
Three Pokemon I'd consider would be Scizor, Gastrodon, and Breloom.
Choice Band Scizor is an absolute monster when there's nothing to check it. Bullet Punch can 2HKO pretty much anything that doesn't resist it, and his respectable defenses and great typing means he can take a few hits. Obviously, he hates Fire types, but it can easily switch into Ice moves, something your team would appreciate..
Gastrodon is an obnoxious bulky water that's a pain to take down without Toxic or a Grass move. Generally, it's EV's are specially defensive, so one would have to be wary of Close Combat, but it can stall lots of things out with Recover and Toxic. Also, physical walls such as Gliscor, who would be annoying for most of your team, can't fight it. It's Ferrothorn switch-in bait as well, if she uses on herself, so you can switch in your fire type and you get a free shot at someone.
Breloom is kinda slow, but he has a 100% accurate sleep move in Spore, and has Poison Heal (usually), so statuses aren't anything to him. There are a couple movesets for Breloom. The main one uses is a Bulk Up set, which I don't personally like, but people can clearly use to great effect.
So, there you go, more advice than you ever wanted. Be wary of Fighting moves.

Excadrill is banned in smogon competitive play, I don't know whether y'all are following those rules though. Anyways, running a sand team without gliscor is just... wrong. Gliscor is a monster of a wall and can hit pretty hard, although he will add to your ice weakness. It should replace your chandelure, which is kind of out of place on this team.
You really ought to breed an adamant excadrill, nature matters a hell of a lot more than IV's and bashful just does not help you much.
Your tyranitar set is pretty off, lead ttars usually run ice beam and fire blast over stone edge/eq. I also have no idea why you are packing speed EV's on it. Put those into spD. It works better to come in later and help wall special sweepers, as well as deal with dragons and score surprise KO's on ferrothorn.
Ferrothorn... I'm not a big fan of your set. Your team is mostly offensive, and spikes don't synergize well. I'd replace spikes with thunder wave if you keep ferrothorn at all. He could be replaced (preferably with gliscor).
I would replace the hydreigon with gastrodon, who is a great in the sand and can be specially defensive. He also absorbs any water moves aimed at your team (immensely useful) and can fire off ice beams/surfs after a spA boost if you get one with storm drain.
In reality, excadrill plus sandstorm wins pretty much everything (theres a reason he's uber). Make sure you breed an adamant one though.

Perhaps you should just use a trainer for your Pokemon, just don't put perfect IVs into it =D There are people that would do this for you online too.
It's what I did back in the days of ruby/sapphire haha...
