End of day feelings: Improving Things focused on: 50 SCVs, and trying to focus Completion of Focus: Was hard at first, but finally got into it, and get to move on to using Medivacs and tanks again... finally! End of Day Placement: Bronze (Top 8!)
Wasn't able to get on the computer much tonight because it was my wife's turn to play on the computer, and by the time I got to use the computer tonight I was all sorts of tired... I tried out my opening and it was clunky and I yawned the whole time so I said "screw this" and played around with the map editor which I was looking at stuff for earlier. I have an idea that I want to build a map where it's a sort of standard build order tester but it shows the number of SCVs on the screen as well as possible some other good info. So since I was too tired to focus enough to play I worked on that for a while, and so far I have a version of Ohana where it tells you have many SCVs you have on the screen.
Which leads me to a question... Is it kosher to upload a Blizz map (maybe not Ohana since it was made by a TeamLiquid dude) like this? Or do I have to make my own whole map? Right now I really don't care about making my own map, and would prefer to have one of the ladder maps to practice on anyway for timing, but I don't want to try and claim something like that as my own since I obviously didn't make it.
After playing with that for a while I started to wake up a little and decided to play a bit, so I got back on battlenet and played some single player for a bit to warm up, then played a few games on the ladder. Lost all 3, but was in a good place to win the first one by just out macroing the top 8 Silver player who after the game said he was surprised that I was bronze and accused me of smurfing, which I had to look up the definition of. I take that as a compliment. I played a bit better than him in the first 10 min but he was better in the middle game building more barracks and swarmed me. But the part of the game I am focusing on (the first 10:00) I won. I also learned some things I should do in the mid game next time that might have actually won me that game as well (other then use my money to build more barracks). Mostly that had to do with not being hard headed and looking for other places to attack (he had a 3rd I KNEW was there but I always pounded on his natural running into sieged tanks while the 3rd was undefended.
As for what I have planned, tomorrow I want to take some time and sit down and outline some real goals for myself... "Get to master" is all well and good, but it's way too long term to be of any real helpfulness. So tomorrow I will line out some "targets" that I'm aiming for over short and long term.

Could you please give these blogs some kind of tag? Your blogs aren't interesting at all, and I would like some way to sort them out of my viewing instead of being lured in with ambigous titles.

Surely you can just remember his name, if you dislike what he writes so much? Also, I beg to differ about the level of interest regarding his blogs.
Faldinerous, keep up the good work Constant macro is definitely the most important thing to keep in mind in the bronze and silver leagues. Just have more "stuff" than your opponent!

Holy jackass, iKill.
Keep at it Faldinerous!

iKill: I'm sorry you don't find it interesting, it is fully understandable that a lot of people don't give a crap about what I'm doing, or my improvement. As to tags, what would you suggest? [newb] [this sucks] [hey stop paying attention now] [iKill doesn't like this]. All of these seem pretty arbitrary and pointless to me and couldn't possibly do any better then you sorting it out by name. Feel free to ignore anything and everything I write/post as you most likely won't find it interesting since it will most likely be in the same vein as this. No hard feelings and good luck in your endeavors.
To everyone else: Thanks again for the kind words, they are much appreciated.

Gl on improving, frustration will be the greatest obstacle imo ;D

nice work! also; please go with "[iKill doesn't like this]"... it would make me laugh so much :D

Wow, way to overreact. It's not like I personally hate you or anything. Jesus fucking christ, is a man not allowed an opinion any more?
All I'm suggesting is that you maybe follow the trend of [Girl Blog]s and add some sort of indicator in your title about your actual content so that people who enjoy this sort of thing can enjoy it easily and people who do not can ignore it. My god.

Ha! I think you're reading too much into my response ikill. Seriously I don't care whether you like what I write or not and do understand why someone wouldn't like this... hell looking over my past blogs even I think it's boring. My point was (and is) that I don't know what tags would do any good, nor do I see a need to put a tag on them.
