How so? The fire is burning quite close to TotalBisquit and Crank at the moment. Especially so if she releases the audio tape.

Crank did say that he wouldn't mind if the tape was released, so AFAIK there's nothing stopping her from releasing it.

Exactly.

I wonder how many out there like me would love to read the full translation of the 1 hr recording jessica has. I believe the truth will be revealed. I support TB but we'll have to wait and see for this since I don't see any supporting evidence just hearsay in these prior statements.. was kind of hoping for specifics in the Crank statement.
I believe this won't be good for Axiom in the long run. This much controversy after just one month of picking up a player must be difficult for Axiom, Its a shame. I know Axiom is trying hard with the formation of the team.
|
I hope now that Axiom has given Crank the chance to explain himself and given their backing to him they can now distance themselves from all of this and focus on business. I'm so disillusioned by all the nonsense that is going on and hope that Axiom will act like a professional business organisation and not engage in the Korean soap star's own game of turning her own failed business into a drama. All she has left is to protect her own reputation and that of Boxer. At the end of the day it was their responsibility as management to keep the team running but they did not react to the changing environment.
What else could you expect from an Esports legend who admitted that all he knows is Starcraft and an actress. They got put in a shitty situation and didn't have the management expertise to get out.
P.S. Boxer is my hero and I wish he would continue playing.

Really good statement, should set some sort of standard

Without a written statement alongside it? That's how professional businesses bring out their statements.

Crank makes a decent point: for these guys, they can't not look for another team, gaming is their only source of livelihood.

Many businesses hold public press conferences and it's up to the journalists to transcribe what they believe is pertinent. There is nothing wrong with a verbal statement especially when the reader can speak in an engaging manner which can give a greater understanding to the listener in hearing their tone and emotion.

You stand by your words and defended Crank.
/nod of approval
Edit : The Axiom point of view may actually be better than Crank's statement. I wasn't a believer of your initiative but you scored points in my book.

Haha, no, actually they release a written copy of that which they say during the press conference aswell. Only if it's for example a short-notice announcement in case of, for example, a disaster they may not have a written copy to release.
Why journalists write during a press conference is so they can ask questions, and to write down the answers to those questions.
Besides, he has the written version, as he's reading verbatim, so it's a simple matter of releasing it.

You're a classy son of a gun, TB. Thanks for this.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Jessica's opinion on anything is irrelevant now. Her team is gone. She's just a bitter ex-manager of a Starcraft team.

Sorry but as a member of the public I have never been privy to a written statement before the statement has been given or immediately after. How about we give them some slack on the case of them not being a publicly listed company.

Tbh the part about CranK only realising how little he has that made him look for a foreign team just made him seem pretty short sighted. Least he could've done was to clear the air with a follow up to SlayerS before advertising himself as available no?

Sure: Don't see how it makes her opinion irrelevant.

Obviously not before, I didn't even allude to that. And no, if they can release an audio statement, which takes both more time and effort to create, I sure won't give them some slack on not releasing an already in his hands written statement of Crank.

I still don't see how they're as irrelevant as yours or mine? She has first hand knowledge, we don't. Doesn't that make it automatically more relevant?
