EPTintrigued yet suspicious of a scam i called the number and it turns out after some googling it is a timeshare event at a resort. INSTANT flashback to the "asspen" SouthPark episode.
so while on the phone the lady informed me that i was guarenteed one of the 4 prizes no matter what as long as i went to the resort. and i would have to scratch off a card to see what i had won. now the thing is she said one of those is guarenteed so im wondering how they could weasel there way out of this? the only thing i could think of would be a shopping spree for something really expensive so in turn its basically just a discount or something... anyways... im going this thursday very doubtful of anything, but i mean the worst that could happen is i have to sit through 2-3 hours of presentations and get maybe free food and a chance to win something, idk but its one of my few days off so i might as well.
So have any of you guys been offered or actually went to one of these? Should I even bother? I mean its not like they are going to force me to stay like in the SP episode... or i hope not.
