The most obvious application in the context of this blog is in SC2. If you spend a bunch of games solely focusing on building workers and supply, you'll find that your body just knows the rhythm of it, and you can start focusing on other things.
A less obvious and much more mundane example: I recently discovered that if I walk with a slightly higher frequency stride than usual, I will not spill a beverage. Having discovered this, I started paying close attention to my stride frequency while walking, and consciously put effort into stepping a little quicker when I was carrying a cup of coffee or whatever. Now my body just slips into that stride without thinking, so I can do other things like carry on a conversation while walking. :D
Also, I can tie my shoes like a PRO.

Can you tell I'm at the right MMR or what?! lol! :D All I'm really focusing on is doing that one build over and over. Most of my losses end up being because my timing isn't crisp enough, and less so because my micro isn't very good. My micro isn't very good, but that's not why I'm losing games.
