My grandma just got promoted to masters today! She plays on her old windows laptop that has a 700mhz processor and sounds like the ice cream man is coming down the street when she starts it up! Also, my little sister just got promoted to masters! She had JUST GOT HOME from her girl scout awards ceremony where she received her recycling merit badge and 4 gated a zerg and POOF! MASTERS LEAGUE! Blizzard must be doing MASS PROMOTIONS TODAY!!! CONGRATS TO EVERYONE!!! | ||

Being an asshole on the forums is sometimes funny, but when you've only been on the site for four months, and already have a reputation like you have, you're going to have a hard time convincing people that you're not a douchebag. But to OP, gj on diamond. I think it's one of the more important promotions, as it shows that you really understand a lot about builds, counters, timings, and mechanics. The first word is some StarCraft name, be it a unit (firebat, broodlord), character (Urun, Tassadar) or place (Tyrador, Char). The second word is a random letter from the NATO phonetic alphabet (Alpha Bravo Charlie etc.). Sometimes it's outside the alphabet (I'm in Furinax Omicron) but IDK yet if that's a replacement for the actual latter (Oscar in this case) or just added in because Blizz needs more division names. If you go long enough you might even skip over gold and land in platinum :D but if you want to gauge your progress, get the MMR tracker. It really helped me see where I was and how much I had left until I was good enough for promotion. | ||
