EPTMy friend and I will travel to Chicago and we need a place to stay. We need a private room with 2 beds (so no hostels T_T).
We plan to visit downtown Chicago's attraction and mostly Museums I believe.
The date we are staying are:
Check In: Apirl/19 (thursday)
Check Out: Apirl/22 (Sunday)
The thing is most hotel/motel near Downtown are expensive. Looking for more like $100/night, so I think what will really help if we stay away from the downtown area, but with a walking distance public transport (subway/lightrail?) that runs reliably to and from the downtown area would be fantastic. So we can just use the cheap rent and simply public transport to downtown every day.
You think that is possible? Any help would be appreciated.
I've used priceline.com and kayak.com, but both do not show the public transportation option so I'm a bit limited.
