Hello every Liquiders
For me basically the only game i've stick up to was Starcraft 1 and 2
I've played MMO FPS MMORPG basically every genre but quit on them
But nowadays i am kinda feeling towards a MMORPG just a backup game when i am bored.
I want a free to play MMORPG i can pay but i cant fund monthly ( aion tera WoW and etc)
I want aion style MMORPG maybe like a tera style ( but they are basically the same thing lulz)
Here some of the playstyles i want
-Easy Leveling. When i Say easy i mean not too grinding based but little grinding i dun want no maplestory game again.
-Easy Funding again i really dont want no Maplestory game again
-Lots of nice people
-Bosses
- And Very Fun playstyles like Skyrim
So basically this blog is to ask you guys what is a good MMORPG thaT FITS THE DESCRIPTION
Anyways it doesnt have to everything in this blog
MMORPGs I've tried
MapleStory ( hated it )
Skyrim
Vindictus
Mabinogi
Atlantica
And much more i just cant think of them right now.
Thank Yeww Everybodee

The only mmorpg that could keep me for years (and which I stopped playing cause it's just that addicting once you get into it) was EvE online.

With literally everything else I had the same problems as you, however since eve isn't your standard mmo I'd take that with a grain of salt. If you wanna try it, check the thread about the TL corp in the sports & games section. =P

Everquest 2 is free to play - all the way to max level I believe. It looks better than WoW and the leveling isn't too bad. I only tried it for a short while, but it was fun and had lots of nice people.

I was addicted to WoW for years, in retrospect the money wasn't worth it but it was fun.

But since it has to be free, LotRO offers alot of what WoW/Aion does without PvP. And it's lord of the rings. Easy leveling pretty much rules out a huge chunk of MMORPG'S though...

Have you played MapleStory since they remade it? I hear it's MUCH MUCH easier to level now.

I played the levels gotten easier but the people were annoying and funding is harder

Rift is free to play up to a certain level now, has no micro-transactions and in general is a solid, fun game that's frequently updated, active playerbase, all that jazz. It's hotkey-based, like pretty much every other MMO, but it has so much diversity within each class in terms of playstyle, so it doesn't get boring.

I'm hoping there will be a first-person hack-and-slash style MMO in the future, like Skyrim. I think third person stuff takes something away from the experience.

Or just try a bit of everything while waiting for Guild Wars 2 or TERA, they're both making big jumps in terms of moving towards a more action-focused gameplay style.

Did Rift become so low as to become f2p?

As someone who's still playing World of Warcraft and keeps in touch with a ton of friends currently playing SWTOR here's my opinion.

Do not pick up SWTOR, there isn't anything in particular that it does better than WoW and WoW is much more beginner friendly.

I'm keeping an eye on Guild Wars 2. of the next gen MMOs that are currently in development it's the only one that doesn't seem like it's just a fancy copy of World of Warcraft in terms of fundamental gameplay. It's an ambitious project that may or may not work out, only time will truly tell.

WoW's the money product right now, for all of its drawbacks it's still the all around best MMO currently available, but Guild Wars 2 looks promising at the moment and for something that won't cost a subscription it's definitely worth at least a try.

If you're looking for something different then Dragon Nest and Rusty Hearts might be worth trying out. Dragon nest is an interesting dungeon based MMORPG that feels more like an action title than your typical grindy MMORPGs. You fight hordes of enemies, bosses, and have to solve some interesting trap and puzzle sequences along the way. When I used to play there was a Team Liquid guild running on one of the servers full of helpful people. I think KellyMilkies ran it with MoonGlade, but I have no idea if they're still playing. You can check out the site here: Dragon Nest.

Rusty Hearts is best explained as a Castlevania meets Streets of Rage style of game. It has a similar dungeon format to Dragon Nest, but has a beat 'em up feel to the gameplay rather than an action title. The game is also story driven and features all kinds of cut scenes and dialogues to go with quests. The quest progression makes each dungeon feel different every time you enter and there are some pretty neat secret rooms here and there. Combat is more fast paced, and all in all more interesting imho, and you level a bit faster. Rusty Hearts also is updated constantly, a major patch is coming soon even though there was a big one just a month or so ago. Both titles don't feel very grindy, have tons of boss fights, and the leveling pace doesn't make your eyes bleed. You can check out the website here: Rusty Hearts.

For a more traditional MMORPG I'd recommend either Battle of the Immortals or War of the Immortals. War of the Immortals is a sequel to Battle, but I haven't gotten the chance to play it yet. From what I hear it's more or less the same game. The big draw to these titles for me is the leveling pace. Leveling is really, really fast and from what I remember the combat had some interesting twists I haven't seen in other titles such as super skills you recharge by killing enemies rather than boring cooldowns. It's one of those games where you're just hack and slashing away getting loot, completing quests, and suddenly you realize you've leveled 3 or 4 times. Cool. You can check out Battle of the Immortals and War of the Immortals on the Perfect World Website.

An MMORPG that doesn't require lots of grinding...? Might wanna reconsider your genre of choice.
Otherwise, I remember that 2moons had a lot of places to go. Can't say much for how good it is, it's been a long time since I've played it(~2 years). Not even sure if it's still running :D

WoW on custom vanilla servers is free and AWESOME.

Try Scriptcraft. Not TOO much grinding if you wanna skip it (you can auto-level to a certain point) and it really is the classic. Pretty active, too.

Guild Wars!

I myself have burnt out on it after a mere 1k hours but it's free to play (after initial purchase) and with the way the 20 levels are attained quickly everybody is competitive.
