I do agree it's a little shitty when the other person just wants a fair match on ladder. To be fair, people BM all the time and facing higher competition occasionally is good for you, cause it gives you more concrete examples of what you can and can't do in your builds. His BM can be really funny sometimes cause his english is so bad and he mostly just does the "¯\_(ツ)_/¯ EZ" shit.
Having said that, I stopped watching him after a while when realizing it's practically all he did. I got he intrigued at first cause he gave Nestea a run for his money in the 2nd open season, and he had some really serious practice sessions. Also his understanding/consistancy of building placement is second to none.
Vibe would agree. He said on his stream last night: "I'm going to break his little fucking fortification"-- made me lol. It's more or less annoying. At first I thought it was funny, but for the past week or so it is all he does. As for "practice", I don't think you can practice against him because of timings and such, not to mention he isn't doing any "build" orders. He's just messing around, which throws off the other player. It just frustrates me that he's getting paid to do this. I come from the FPS world, in which when this stuff happens you get banned. If you were caught smurfing etc you'd be finished.
I would equate the ladder to a simple pick up game in any FPS.
Honestly, you don't get mad at that guy in Battlefield 3 (whos team happens to be on top of the TWL 4v4 ladder) for dominating you. Nor do you tell him he has no right to be on that server with you.
Now if Dragon was entering Bronze-Gold tournaments, and trolling players that would be a big deal.
Also, I just want to point out top FPS teams smurf on GamersPortal all the time when they're looking for a scrim.

HuK got bitched at by Blizzard for playing on someone else account and I don't see any reason why this dude should be doing the same and getting paid to level up accounts is some shady shit for a guy hoping to break into the competitive scene. If I was in charge of a team and heard a prospective player was leveling someones shit to make spare cash I wouldn't think twice about saying no.
Don't think it would be as big of a deal but since he's streaming it than I think its an issue, smashing diamond players for fun instead of training to get better? Doesn't sound like someone with high ambitions for progamming to me.

So just to make sure I understand this. Dragon got stream sniped by a random person who the went on to BM Dragon. This makes Dragon a bad person because he was BM as well? This person obviously knew that he was attempting to snipe someone that was most likely better than him at SC2.
Unless my reading comprehension shit the bed, your saying that a rank 7 diamond player was FORCED to play Dragon, but then you state that he stream sniped Dragon INTENTIONALLY?
Also, what is your proof that he has been leveling up accounts for money? Call me ignorant if there is proof he is doing such, but making accusations that he is without providing proof is just bashing Dragon.
Could it be that you were the rank 7 diamond that sniped him?
Does anyone agree with me, or am I taking this too far? Am I over-analyzing this?

Of course your over-analyzing ... your a crazy Asian after all...
Your post is actually one of the better ones on this topic.

I think he's mixing ladder with competitive play. No reason to be a dick though.

I'd say the problem is him being to open about leveling up the accounts.

Dragon probably shouldn't stream the leveling cause its against Blizz TOS I think, but otherwise I don't see the problem, and its hilarious when he smashes people in diamond :D.
But yes this is another case of TL kids taking things too serious, just chill out brah.

I'm sure the feds will be coming after him soon.

I have no problem with it. It's his choice to basically entertain rather than do anything on the pro scene. His stream is fun to watch but that's about it.

I'm not sure what the fascination is with Dragon. Great player? No doubt. What big live events has he played in? He just trolls the NA/Americas server. I turn on his stream and might be a laugh once in a while but I feel like its for diamond players and lower. He's obviously taken the 'I'll be a pro by making stream revenues' as compared to actually winning big live events.
Is there anything wrong with that? I guess not, heck he'll probably make more money than me this year. However I just think its lame that he is leveling accounts. Guess he just wants money but he's really wasting his SC2 talent.

People did this for Halo 3, ALOT. Most recently people would put smiley faces to mean they are boosters (boosting a teammate who is paying them in team slayer) or frowny faces for derankers (lowering the boosters rate so they can boost up another paying customer). There was SO much of this that I can't even play Halo 3 online anymore, so many 50's have been boosted and are not good.

He played Nestea @Open Season 3 and he wanted to compete @different code a qualifiers but could not attend because of work obligations.

Who are you to comment if Dragon is wasting his talent? You said you barely even watch his stream so how do you know if he has talent or not?
In my opinion Dragon probably makes more money from his stream than alot of pros do from their salary and tournaments. Im talking about mid to low tier pros heere obviously.

Exactly my sentiments.
IF YOU STREAM SNIPE AND BM SOMEONE, YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED TO BE ASSRAPED BY THE STREAM CHAT.
You're asking for it.
I don't know if I can find any particular evidence that Dragon is leveling accounts, but Chill commented that he was. So I guess he was. I don't really mind, because it's harmless. It might violate the ToS but that's Blizzard's problem.
Also, if you stream snipe someone, you're not being forced to play them...
I seriously hope that OP is the rank 7 diamond player. That would make my day.

I would be honoured to play against pro player . And i have nothing against levelling up other's account for money, if it's illegal than blizzard should do something about it.

i enjoy dragon's stream, but it does get boring watching him stomp NA players. occasionally there are some pretty great games, though. obviously, he gets more viewers than other (better) koreans because he's pretty darn entertaining.
SUCCESS *eyebrow wag* cracks me up every time

shit OP, where were you when I was getting blown to andromeda every other game on iCCup by B+ koreans?

i thought the same thing. of course it is fair that the diamond player played dragon! he freaking stream sniped him! im shocked that the OP cannot understand this.
btw dragon fiasco? can you link me the "fiasco" you are talking about? the last i read it was just dragon leaving slayers due to school and career obligations.

hrm.. my reading comprehension tells me that he was forced to play Dragon in a game, knew who he played afterwards and THEN , for a 2nd game, stream sniped him to BM him for kicking low level asses for fun.
Anyway, this is pretty much a lose/lose situation to me. Smurfing accounts for money and making fun of lower level players without a chance is stupid in my eyes, getting heated up and starting to get really insulting/racist just as much (or even more).
