Nevertheless, my play has been improving by leaps and bounds just by playing consistently, and thus, the first minor step into not being a total scrub:
(yes the game was short, that's what happens in PvP when you forget to convert a gateway while I'm outmicroing your stalkers and have a zealot killing probes! also I finally spent my bonus pool this game)
Promotion doesn't really mean much, but it's a nice pat on the back, I knew the promotion was pretty close because I've been hitting lots of diamonds. The real test is Masters, I think I should be able to make it by the end of this year, that's my goal.
My main problem right now is just dedication, being able to focus on something for a decent period of time. I can never sit still, really gotta work on that. PvP is going very well for me, I'm going nexus first pretty much any viable map PvT and it's going well, my biggest problem in that matchup is when to add additional gates/get double forges/expand in the midgame, I think I'll just be able to feel that out over time. PvZ is a total mystery to me, every time I win it feels like my opponent is completely incompetent, especially on Tal'darim Altar, I have no idea how to play that map PvZ, my FFE transitions are outright garbage. I usually go for the anypro 7gate +1/+1 obs but my attack seems to be way too late and I end up overextending instead of getting a third.
Anyways, whenever there's anything interesting happening with my play now that I'm doing this full-time I'll post about it. If this has taught me anything so far, it's that I'm one lazy mofo. I need that Korean work ethic :-/
