I'd like to try it eventually, but since Skyrim is bound to take up most of my time in the near future, I guess it isn't fair to ask for the key now. I'll keep an eye out for your blogs if you ever make any in the future though. ![]()

When I saw the prize money valve announced for the international and the teams who would be attending I was really interested. I ended up watching just about all of the games whilst trying to pick up what I could about the teams themselves and the game. Despite some of the initial lag problems which weren't too fun from a viewer perspective.. I really enjoyed the way the game flowed and the build up and tension you could get when a team would suddenly go on a ganking mission. As a result i've been incredibly excited about trying it out in the beta and seeing if it's the kind of game I'd enjoy playing as well as watching. I really like the direction valve are taking with the spectating options too and hopefully that will have a big impact on a lot of other games in the coming years to make everything better to watch. Really enjoying all the articles on dota that keep popping up here in the blogs. It helps take the edge off not having any luck getting into the beta yet ![]()

I especially like the "don't die" point, I must admit that in other games I usually have a knack for grossly underestimating my chances of death and charging headlong in to the fray - I believe that such a heroic act is called 'feeding' in this game ![]()

Been watching streams of DotA2 for a while now, it looks totally awesome, I'm always trying to recognise the heroes from HoN. Anyways, thanks, I liked the guide!

I'll be honest here and say that I'm not new (unless you could dota 2 cause I haven't played that ^^). I read your bit about a friend and I do have one that has played dota a bit, but considers himself very noob even though he isn't too bad & probably just needs to read a few guides from guys like you. Because of this I'd still consider him 'new' as he doesn't actively play the game, if this isn't allowed or you don't trust me to hand the key to him I understand but I thought it was worth a shot as he wouldn't sign up himself. Thanks for the hard work you do, hope to see you in dota 2! (it rhymes, hehe)

![]() About the "#2. Spending your money properly is really important", if you don't know what to buy, use the recommended section in the shop. It's better to at least buy something useful to the hero you are playing than just randomly buying something. Basic knowledge but worth mentioning i think. ![]() About the starting items, especially for supports i suggest to check Bumblebees amazing blog. Usually some of the tips here are good for other than support heroes also. Great read, Great to see TLers sharing the keys with the community. Congrats whoever gets the key! ![]()

I'm not sure if me playing league of legends disqualifies me from your beta key give-away but I really want to try DOTA2. If it helps I've never played the original DOTA and I'm pretty bad at LoL too :D
