So a few weeks later I was playing some practice games against Kawaiirice while TL Moderator RaGe was obsing and I told him who I was and he recognized me. I asked him if TL needed any help with replays and he said he would pass it along. Soon enough I got access to start uploading replays, there after I post my first replay. A few months later I got a quality star and it felt really good, every time I stare at this star it becomes brighter. The date is now July 25, two days before SC2 is going to be released meaning I would be leaving BW. I make a new blog titled Getting rid of replays I released all the replays I had on my computer currently into one big pack and I left BW.
A few months later I found out how cool TL Staff was. I was reading through some blogs and I noticed Plexa's post who was responding to someone who was having trouble in 1v1. He said just message me for my battle.net id. I took this opportunity and I messaged Plexa myself and we began playing. Only knowing him for a few hours I felt like I knew him much longer. A little while later Plexa had a Grudgematch against Pokebunny. He asked me to help him train so I started playing Plexa even though I was Zerg main I tried to help with my very basic knowledge of TvP.
A week later I officially became staff meaning no one could report my posts! This was really cool, I later joined the staff irc channel and met some cool/unique people such as boesthius, TrueRedemption and countless others. During this time I became closer friends with Plexa since we played a lot but unfortunately he was leaving Ya right who can really leave TL, he came back. At this time TL was putting together a team who would watch the Liquid players replays for This Week In Replays Plexa recommended me before leaving. I met some really cool people through this such as the entire Liquid Replay Team: p4ndemik, GTR, heyoka, Xxio and at the time our captain TheMango and leader Riptide.
Being staff we could sign up to be referees for TL Open's. TSL qualifiers were going on and for the last qualifier me and TrueRedemption wanted to be referee for the finals. Nothing could be settled and thus the A Matter of E-Fame Grudgematch was created. It was fun I got to ref the finals and became close friends with True from there on out. Now me and True practice a lot every single day, he doesn't like my style though -.-
A bit later Nazgul created a thread asking if anyone wanted to work on a super secret project (teamliquidpro) and again I met some new staff: Antoine, Jibba, Imperator and pachi. Once teamliquidpro was released I was asked by TheMango if I wanted to become captain of the Liquid Replay Team, I accepted. What did this entail? I get access to every single Liquid replay and I also got to add them on MSN and Skype. Every fanboys dream is talk with TLO and watch all his private replays or any of the Liquid guys for that matter. The best part of being captain is watching a Liquid players stream because once the game finishes I can instantly DL the replay. Or better yet, TLO happened to be streaming one day and I messaged him on msn and asked about his strategy and we talked for a bit. All the liquid guys are awesome so I can message them anytime and we talk about whatever. /brag
I didn't post much until I became a banling, can you guess when I became one?
I was reading my friend endymion's blog and noticed how well he wrote and how entertaining his style of writing was, so I asked him if he wanted to work on articles for teamliquidpro. We continued our feature of Play Of The Week. Later on TL picked up Sheth and HerO and we needed another person to help watch replays, so I asked another friend, boethius to help. Tree.hugger joined the Liquid team as Leader, he posts all the cool news on tlpro and helps me with my posts. Tree is the coolest staff member I have worked with, we talk a lot basically about anything on our minds and we are always looking for ways to improve tlpro.
And here we are today I continue to interact more and more with staff such as boesthius, heyoka, and waxangel. Another story as to why TL Staff are the best. I talk to boesthius, endymion, TrueRemption and Plexa about anything on my mind. About things I normally wouldn't talk about with my real life friends. If I notice anything on TL related to modding or about really good posters I talk to Heyoka, he calls me GIF master. Then there is Waxangel who messages me about terran 1/1/1 strategies, I think these are his absolute favorite. If you're ever feeling down the person to talk with is Nazgul, if you're not feeling better by end of the conversation, you should consider seeing a doctor.
That was my journey so far, looking forward expect a lot of great things regarding replay related material out of tlpro soon™
