Hello again everyone I have been absent for a while and I have finally switched to Protoss. I feel like I am improving greatly and I am pretty solid in PvT/Z for my level (Silver). I still need to improve a lot in PvP though so if anyone has any tips/threads for learning PvP please PM me.

So since my last blog post I never switched to Protoss but I finally have in season 4. My record as of typing this is 5-1 with my 1 loss being PvP I'm very excited about where I am headed and hope to improve very much over the next few months.

I have received some free coaching from a High diamond Protoss I know it's not the best person to learn from as they are still learning but it improved my PvZ a lot (My only lesson was in PvZ). I'm hoping to have more lessons for the other MU's in the future as it is really important to improving my play.

I think I will start streaming my ladder games to show my improvements. So if anyone would like to watch my journey to becoming a better player you can watch my stream. Thank you all for reading and have a great Halloween.

For PvP, just 4gate. Should work well into masters and by then you will be good enough to defend a 4gate and can start looking at branching out.

I would suggest doing 3 gate robo. its a solid build and hardcounters 3 gate blink which you see a lot. Just be ready for the chargelot/archon transition if it gets that far into the game which destroys heavy immortal usage.

Ok thanks. I have been doing a randomly thrown together 3gate robo but I got destroyed by my opponents 3 gate robo. He went heavy Zealot/Stalker timing push at about 9:30-10min mark and it destroyed me. My comp at the time was like 3-4 stalkers 2 sentries and 1 immortal. I don't know if better placed FF at my nat would have helped me win that timing push but I got smashed hard then I lost my nat expo all my probes and after that point I gg'ed.

No this is my first RTS. I have been playing Zerg since Jan and I just switched to Protoss this season and am having much more success. IMO and in others opinions my toss is at a high plat/mid diamond level. Where as my Zerg IMO is at Silver level if that. And that is just in the few days I have played toss. My only real trouble area is PvP otherwise I think I will make it to Diamond easy.

If you are on two bases and he is on one. Don't build more than 26-28 probes. It may feel tempting,but the timing window is there to kill you if you get greedy. ( I assume you were able to scout since you had a robo ) Just produce units and keep even in that regard.

I did scout an expo my expo was finishing as his was 1/2 done. At the start of his push I was 12 supply ahead and 1/2 way done with my 1st collosi. I think it may have been to too to many probes before units. If I had cb'ed my gates and invested more in units I think I would have not died to that push.
