When I'm confident, I'm happy. That's all there is to it. When I do the things I know I need to, especially when doing those things isn't easy, I'm confident. Straight up, simple as that. I've thought about what those things are, and these I feel are most important.
1.) Not eat grains.
-No matter what I've tried, I'm not happy when I eat grains. As screwed up as that might sound, that's the way it is. Psychologically, I can't eat them and be happy. It's probably the culmination of my crappy problems with food over the last long while, and that's just the way it is.
2.) Excercise.
-I'm not a lazy person on the inside. I love exercising and playing sports. I'm a naturally athletic person. I'm just lazy right now. My goal here is to do something active at least 4x a week. Whatever it may be, for now. When I get a bit more motivated, I'm gonna wake up before school and do P90X. Hopefully that won't take long.
3.) Get to freaking bed.
-This is probably where I'm least healthiest. I'm going to bed at 12 every night, sometimes 1. On school nights. Terrible habit, and I blame you, TL! Hehe. 10 o'clock is my self-imposed bedtime during the weeknights.
4.) Read.
-I need to replace my time on this laptop with some reading. I used to read a lot more than I do now. Because I don't read at all anymore. I bought a Kindle this weekend, should be here next week. I'm going to try to finish a book a month (at least).
5.) Stop procrastinating.
-I'm bad with doing things early. I figure I can do it at another time, always. I always end up getting it done, but the thought of it hanging over my head just sucks. This is something I'm going to need help with. I've always been a huge procrastinator. ^^
Not eating grains is definitely the most important here. Pretty much the keystone, that's my #1 for a reason. Anyway, I'm going to post here daily if possible. Love to hear feedback, suggestions, motivation, whatever.
Here's to change.
