My experience has been an interesting one. My mentor, an Australian man named Brandyn has been really helpful in aiding my play. To give you an example, here is an example of a replay I am in right before signing up with Brandyn, and here is a replay from myself today. follow my cam, my mechanics and macro and you can see the improvement in such a short time from a gold player threatened with demotion to silver to likely a Platinum player once the season resets.
The pricing is not cheap, but with the sale going on right now and the guaranteed league based goals are worth it if you take your SC2 seriously. Keep in mind the mentors do take your case and follow your progress, with a promise to bring out the player in you rather than just teaching you some builds. The format allows for followups and realy improvement which given my experiences with coaching is a real upgrade. I feel like the only reason I got so much out of Gosu Coaching is because I became friends with my coach
So what kind of pricing are we looking at? Well the price is 99 bucks American a league (up to Masters) (33% sale on right now however) or there is a 300 dollar package for guaranteed Masters league. As of now there is a sale where that package is 200 dollars. If anything, the cost does motivate you to get the most out of the experience and focus on improvement.
My conclusion that it is a great program and worth it if you take the game seriously enough to justify the cost. The prices are a little punishing for those who just play casually, but in the end they wouldn’t pay for this thing anyway. It is a really great program and has my endorsement.
