Along the way, you should organically pick up the confidence you need. That's important--it's not even that girls find confidence really attractive as much as they expect it. Lack of confidence is just...exasperating. (Okay I can't generalize to all girls--maybe I should say me, as a girl.) And definitely cut off communications for the foreseeable future, unless she reaches out to you. (Though it doesn't sound like something she's likely to do.) If you do bump into her, it'll make a bigger impression when it's a sudden change, not a gradual one. | ||

You don't know that this other guy is perfect. Maybe you'll bump into her in ten years and catch up. She'll see you've grown, that you've accomplished a lot and that you're happy. If she's still not interested, who cares? Future you probably deserves much better than future her. The important thing is not to get stuck: eels don't spend their entire lives in the Sargasso Sea, you have to swim out into the world. | ||
