You're misguided, my friend. In fact, I don't even think you love her, your entire post just screams lust. You don't sound too happy that she has such an amazing boyfriend. You sound bitter and hateful because she has a boyfriend who is so much better than you. That's not called love. If you truly loved her, which I highly doubt you do, than you'd be happy for her. Why? Because she's happy. When you deeply love someone, you don't place your own "needs" in front of others. Your partner's emotional needs always come first, and if she's content with her relationship, so should you be content. Going down the path you're currently on is such a coward's way, because it's so much easier to succumb to self-loathing and jealousy than it is to realize the truth - to be happy for her knowing she's in a very good relationship with an awesome guy. I had a friend who I was interested in for a long time, had the same problems, etc. And I just started at some point to think rationally and realize that she was in no way perfect (in fact, she wasn't all that good of a person at all) and stopped talking to her. And now I don't really care. Haven't spoken to her in about a year or so I think. Feels good. There's no reason to invest so much into anyone unless you know there's a future. The grade/age thing was pretty funny though lol. | ||

As long as I get to see her and be friends obviously. Let's face it man. Love is a bitch. There's not a lot you can do about that. You can't make somebody love you, but you can try and be as happy as possible about the whole thing. You love her because she's amazing and you can't help but be happy when you're around her. And you want to be around her. (I'm pulling this out of my feelings). She makes you happy, remember that. Love is there because she makes you happy. So be happy. | ||
