hey all!
at first i want to point out, that im pretty new to this whole blog-thing, so i hope everything is ok. and that im austrian, so excuse my grammar/spelling mistakes . ==
yesterday, i played about 10 games, eventually winning more then 50% thanks to...luck probably (im a ~600 platin and was a 3.1k platin terran in season 1). i felt like a total idiot with ZERO game sense and just didnt know what to do, even after a thousand games i played.
feels more like a wall im hitting, and i cant improve at all. i usually watch replays, but in the last time i just dont care and i play. i think im lacking of general stuff (timing, mechanics, hotkeys, scouting etc.) and i think the only reason im plat is justthe noobiness of my opponents (no offense) and luck. i'dwish that somebody could help me out thereand maybe coach me a bit ? i cant offer 50 bucks an hour, but a steam-gift or small things like that is all i can do
please dont link me the day9-vods or the 'how to get better at 1v1'-thread or other things like that, ive read them all and yeah...
so yeah, if u were in a similar situation or want to share something, feel free to post in here.
u van also add me in bnet, seph.935@EU-servers

"Game sense" is a fancy way of saying practice. There's no mystical way of knowing what's going on, or how to properly respond. When a pro seems to know exactly what to do, it's because he's been in that exact situation before, many times.
As for your opinion of luck/noob opponents, plat is where you belong. You're playing against people as good as you, so don't worry about that. There also isn't much luck involved, unless youre rushing cloaked banshee every game and praying your opponents don't have detection.
It seems to me that your problem is focus.Pick a build for each MU and just do it every game. After a thousand games, you should notice that you often end up in the same situations, so you can master the decision making in those spots.
There isn't much a free coach can tell you that you can't easily learn from threads and VODs. It's just up to you to properly apply what you're learning.

I honestly know no specific timings and wing every single game. I wouldn't attribute my being in diamond - play vs masters a lot - with luck, but rather just knowing general strategies and being able to implement them. Knowing how to react - scouting and scans are really important - is a LARGE part of being able to move on.
Not really taking the game seriously is deff holding me back but then again I don't really care at the moment and just play the game for the fun factor.
Try playing custom games vs people in higher leagues, I've found that after I started playing high masters players, I saw a HUGE leap in, well, pretty much everything.
Best of luck

@FreezerJumps:
yeah, im having problems to focus and refine stuff im already doing. i want to pick a build for each match-up, but which should i take ? i would appreciate some recommendations !
@TheYukoner:
best friend of mine is high diamond zerg and sometimes we play some 1v1 for practice. and every time we play, he demolishes me, i have no chance at all. i know that i can learn from those losses, and i watch the replays and stuff but it seems that i cant. so why should i keep playing higher-skilled players ? they will probably play with me and i eventually end up being frustrated - but i want to have some fun too.
