So this is a video that my friends and i made 2 weeks ago for our presentation at school. We were asked to take a topic we talked about in the semester, and present it in a more creative fashion. Being the talentless but technogically addicted undergraduates we were, we decided to make a movie with lego stop motion.
We wanted to make it kind of like a movie trailer format as much as possible, but that idea also tapered off pretty fast. Regardless, the video kicks off right at the beginning of angiogenesis with the blood vessels beginning to form, but more importantly, the cell adhesions in the tissue are being disrupted priming the metastasis of the tumor cells. The middle part of the video is the growth period showing the tumor cells increasing in number until we have the metastasis itself occur in the latter half of the video, breaking into the substratum.
It's not exactly, the greatest production quality ever (and its very apparent when we start to get a little lazy), but we enjoyed making it and I figure i might as well show you guys in the spirit of nonsensical fun :D Hope you guys enjoy it~

hmm, we did use a tripod but i don't have a remote. so the undulations are caused by the vibration when we push the shutter button.
and yeah, itssss, largely dependent on pre-existing knowledge of metastasis but we focused more on making it fun to watch and a little retarded =p
