Here is game 5 of me versus ZiggyD from LearningSC2. Looking back at the game now (which was played about two months ago), it’s actually pretty funny watching these two bronze n00bs (myself included, of course), even from a silver-level perspective. I don’t want to spoil anything for you, but as an example, just see my build: gate, robo, gate, double stargate — yes, that is off one base.

Still, for a bronze-level match, this is a pretty good one. And, you get to see who’s crowned the king of n00b masterdom! See below for the video (in two parts) with commentary:

Don't you mean your micro was slipping because you had lots of resources?

Macro - Spending and gaining money

Micro - Control of army/units

Good luck getting better but I would suggest that you look into some build orders or something, and I can see the noob level problem of hesitation in applying pressure and attacking it is quite entertaining . Commentary was fairly interesting though and I enjoyed it.

If you want to play any games or practice you can add Abstract.157

No, I actually meant my micro was slipping just 'cause I sucked in this video worse than I do now

I have gotten into the groove of doing real build orders since this video. I'm probably still a little off once I get past the first 5 or 6 buildings (especially as Protoss), but yeah, you won't see many gate, core, robo, gate, double stargates from me anymore lol.

The noob hesitation was pretty classic, you're right. Glad you liked the commentary! I've been hoping my commentary actually adds something to these replays.

The commentary was occasionally quite funny, since it ironically reflects on the low level of play we're seeing.

Double startgate does work on one base, but only if you mash out phoenix, though. Which, on retrospect, with a decent zealot army would've ripped your opponent opponent apart, had you done it properly. Although I would say your stargate placement was a bit off on such a map like Scrap Station. I understand you want to hide it from your opponent, but the best location for any kind of air production buildings on Scrap Station is as close to the middle as possible, because that creates the shortest flight distance to your opponent's base. When done right, you can do great timing pushes. This of course matters a bit more with VR rushes though, which can be quite devastating as well, especially if you face a zerg opponent that goes early roaches.
