Its tricky, especially in Bronze, to guess this, but I'd say that most games where your opponent 1base all-ins will be decided about the 10min mark, for good or ill.

I've got a pretty good perspective on this, as I recently helped my brother move out of bronze.

Everyone is telling you to continually make SCVs and depots. They're right. This is literally the only thing you need to do if you want to advance. But it's easier said than done. My advice is to watch your replays and stare at your command center or production tab constantly. It should be the only thing you focus on. Whenever you stop making workers for more than a second, make a note of it. After that, spend your money and you're set. In the TVT game you posted, this was a significant problem. You also stopped worker production entirely way too soon, meaning you eventually didn't even have enough workers to saturate 1 base (after losing a bunch to a drop). When you think you have enough workers, build more. Check your replays to see how many (or few) workers you actually have. Then go check a pro game and note the difference.

You'll need more production buildings as well, but first you need to make units out of all the buildings you have constantly. Your income was significantly higher than your opponent's, but you floated several thousand resources throughout the game. Spend this money.

Now for the bit about when to attack/defend. This is something you'll learn as you progress. You shouldn't expect any specific timings while in bronze. Just get a feel for what is happening. You can always poke at your opponent in TvT and especially TvP (until people learn force fields, probably mid diamond). If you poke at your opponent a bit, and don't like what you see, you can always walk back to your base. Learning how to be aggressive is tough at first, but you'll get it. The best advice is to just try attacking at various times. Walk away if you think you'll lose. One of the reasons it's tough is that you imagine your opponent is stronger than he actually is. In the replay I just watched, you were in a commanding lead the entire game, even after losing your whole mineral line.

In response to your third question, you really don't need to worry about drops and harass at this point. Strategy is pretty useless until you get the fundamentals down. Your energy will almost always be better spent focusing on production. I know you've been on the receiving end of some devastating drops (the TvT you posted had an example), but you should be able to completely roll over any bronze opponent by just building an army and a-moving in. There's plenty of time for strategy later. If I were you, I would start getting a starport right after the factory finishes. Throw a reactor on it and start pumping medivacks. Just focus on massing MMM until you get the hang of it. It'll work fine until higher leagues (and is quite strong even then). You'll have time for more complicated builds and compositions later. If you're really struggling, you can even skip the medivacs at this point, just be cautious about stim.

The way I see it there are only two things you should focus on:

1. Get as much money as you possibly can (constantly make workers, expand, dont get supply blocked).
2. Spend it (constantly make units, make enough production facilities and dont get supply blocked).

Things such as micro, game sense, decision making will improve automatically as you're focusing on these two points. I dont think it is necessary to strictly follow a build order, however, you should have knowledge about different builds, so that once you get higher you can start focusing on learning these builds properly and refine them.

Whoa, that's a lot more responses than I anticipated - thanks, everyone! o.o

Hah, to think I felt my macro was improving, when I'd catch myself in the middle of combat thinking "I need to make reinforcements".

I should probably have armies twice as big as the ones I usually end up with, so for now I'm going to take these three points to heart:

When you think you have enough workers, build more. Check your replays to see how many (or few) workers you actually have.

That's good to know. In that TvT I was starting to be mined out so I stopped caring too hard about SCVs, when really I could have expanded again.

Produce SCVs constantly. They need to be coming one after another until you have ~70

I think I read the number 70 before, but I've never really been happy with my SCV count. But I'll spend more games focusing purely on getting everything asap, and watching for when I'm not building any.

Things such as micro, game sense, decision making will improve automatically as you're focusing on these two points.

This is a relief to hear, as I've been worrying that learning just one build would leave me unaware in higher leagues. I'll stop worrying about these things for now, then.
