I watched the videos, and as an amateur zerg player i found them extremely helpful. Just the insight of like, checking to see what is being chrono boosted, and if this then that type of stuff really helps. Im subscribing. Keep up the vids!

I have seen this guy play and he is good. I saw him play on MrBitters show, in one of the ZvZ with LiquidRet episodes and he beat him. Anyone who can beat LiquidRet in a straight up macro game, pro or not, is worth listening to. Also, he is on LaGTT which is not the most well known team, but for anyone who is well informed in terms of the professional SC2 scene, they are a recognizable and credible team.

I would personally recommend at least giving it a shot, especially if you are a zerg player. Also, best of luck to you JEcho. Don't let the skeptics bring you down =)

Very cool!

Any chance a Protoss clan mate of yours may do the same as you are?

Seriously? Why is everyone jumping down JEcho's throat?
If you don't like his attitude/stream, just don't watch it.

But at the very least, consider that he's nice enough to stream his games and commentate on his thinking process, instead of going "HURR DURR WATCH MY STREAM OF ME PWNING IN TOP 200, I'M BETTER THAN ALL OF YOU."

If anything his stream DOES contribute to the community, especially to lower leveled Zerg players.

I will admit, though, that the title is misleading. Perhaps the mods should change it~?

Jemag?

I'll check these out later for sure, I saw you MrBitter's stream as well, and i have to say there was no way Ret was going to let you win that last game after you beat him the first time haha!

To all those who are saying he's not good enough, then i guess you must all be alot better otherwise you can't judge.

nice work dude!

Watched a couple of your videos and they seem great. I also enjoyed watching Psy, looking forward to see what you put up next. I'd suggest people arguing about whether he comes off as a jerk or not in the op just watch a few of the videos and move along if you don't like them.

@ excludos, are you top 200? probably not, i cant use points as a reference since the reset but im still top 200

This should have been in the OP and a list of your "qualifications" specified. I also was wondering how good you were and it wasnt until you bashed this response that i found out. This guy wasn't accusing you of being a noob, he was simply looking for your experience/skill level before he started following you religiously.

@ merciless idont believe people who stream are constantly talking explaining why they are doing what they are doing. Please point me in the direction of these people

There are plenty of streamers who talk all the time AND explain what they are doing, the first and foremost example I can think of being RootDestiny. InControl is another example (may not talk all the time but tends to explain important parts).

At first I thought this guy would be a loudmouth who stumbled into top 200, but after watching one video he's pretty legit.

Thanks, great content and ideas. Will watch these tonight.

ive known him for 4-5 months now and hes a good guy and tries to help wherever and whenever he can.

for any of you to turn down this kind of free instruction would be foolish.

Loved the the idea, like directors commentaring their films, helps beginners understanding the whys and not only the hows.
Good luck.

Despite all the debates about your thread title which i'm frankly not going to get into because honestly who cares...you probably did it to get as many views on the post as possible whether your a true 'pro' or not is irrelevant.

Good luck with the rest of it.

moved to blogs. Advertising your yt channel with 56 posts is frowned upon.

however, it does look like your quality is good, and i'll be looking for more.

Not sure many people stumble into top 200, it takes so much time/practice.

Anyway, OP - I tuned in, i liked the aggressive play style with roach/banes. One of my concerns is that it's a metagame build and not an actual stable build (not 100% sure) similar to kyrix style aggression that was predicated on terran players getting greedy and expanding too fast. What do you think?

I've watched the stream, I found it very helpful from a certain point of view just to learn the timings of the Z's I play. On the other hand I find it very discouraging when they only have 3/4ths the units you would and still less drones... lol master Z's need to learn from better master Z's -.-

Still good work ^^ it was fun to watch.
