I'm Sosuka a german zerg player who plays in the masterleague of the eu ladder and i spent a lot of time with zerg theory. Thats why i decided to give a little zerg guide piece by piece to you guys.
(My english isn't the best i'm afraid.)
1. Introduction:
In the past two month we all watched a lot of replays and pointed out a lot of different strategy’s how to handle the different builds the other races could throw at us. In the following chapters the main aspects will be explained and discussed to achieve a well balanced foundation for the future analysis of the game. Regarding the variation of play-styles that we have seen out of the professional players should be considered into our guide as well as the strengths and weaknesses of our race in general. Since the builds and tactics diversify a lot depending on matchup and how exactly our opponent executes his builds we have to split our discussion up into three different parts one for each matchup. But we have to give benefit to the standards in macro and micro as well. They seem so important that they should help to answer the question how zerg should be played. Especially the macro can make a huge difference between low- and highskilled zergs.
