way too sensitive her complaint is reasonable and whatever, her stereotyping was also reasonable too much political correctedness is counter-productive as long as she doesn't hold a genuine hatred against all asians or something, i am ok with her making impressions of chinese people talking in the library | ||

but it is true that people talking annoyingly in the libraries tend to be asians (chinese) although this may have to do with the fact that asians frequent libraries more than other races the point still stands from what she has encountered from asians in UCLA, i would say her response is perfectly reasonable the issue is, she hasn't really had a well-balanced exposure so i guess in that sense, she is ignorant but it only seems like she has a mild grudge against a specific sub-group of asians (asians in ucla who talk in the library in the phone/or have meals prepared by their mothers), i think it's acceptable | ||

is she ignorant? yes is she acting irrationally based on her limited exposure of asians at ucla? not really, considering that she probably came from a hicktown in middle of usa and her experiences with asians are limited to these things only, she is not acting too out of line (that is, i am assuming she doesn't have a full-blown hate against asians thing going on) besides, she does have a point about people talking on the phones in the library | ||
