Diablo 3 Demon Hunter (new class)

Writing this just made me realize why they didn't make the usual fantasy roles: it would be to similar to WOW. you know, paladin, thief, warlock... They gave them new names, monk, demon hunter, witch doctor.

Wizard is the Sorc essentially the new spells and abilities are much more interesting then the old.
Blizzard has had a crazy obsession with paladins and making them STUPID strong in every game they've been in. I think its refreshing to finally NOT have a paladin option.



there was no difference between the original D1 toons besides the starting stats, all of them could be changed to do exactly what the others could do.

As far as the demon hunter goes I am gonna make one for the arena aspect of diablo3 but I'll roll all the classes. The new ones look fun, and the classic ones i expect to have some changes that really make them unique. If not I cant see myself leveling a barb much further then 40s. I ve been playing Diablo2LoD recently just for fun and I gotta say the one thing I pray they have changed is the way the looting system works. Having to race people to click items on the ground is rather silly and there is no garentee its even useful as you have to identify the items as well. WoW looting system is ok but slows up the game. If there was some sort of balance between the two I'll be much more excited about the PvE aspect of the game.

I'm happy with the wizard because it's basically the sorc. I played a lot of sorcs in D2, and I can se myself liking the wizard class.

And call it PvM, not PvE. We are Diablo players! Do not stoop to the level of WoW. We were around first, and it's goddamn Player vs Monster.
