So it has kind of been a while, but nothing funny has really happened. I have a couple though. For now on the abbreviation C = Customer and M = Me.
(Customer walks in with a monitor and all her dangling cords dragging across the floor.)
C: Can you help me?
M: Yeah, what's wrong?
C: My monitor has a virus!
M: Yes, it does, we can clean it off for you.
(Customer is crip walking across the floor.)
C: Excuuuuuuuze me my brotha, can you is help me? I'm looking for a modem!
M (walk him over): Alright, since you have comcast cable you need this one.
C: Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait, I think I need a router, I already have this.
M: Ok, if you need a wireless router that is decent go with this one.
C: Wait wait wait, I think I have this to, I'm trying to use my computer as a monitor.
M: You need any help with anything, sir?
C: Yeah, I bought this router here and I still can't get on the internet.
M: Do you have like comcast or verizon for internet?
C: Yeah.
M: Did they give you the modem?
C: Yeah, I talked with them and they deactivated it though, I was going to get a new one.
M: Then what's the problem?
C: I can't get on the internet!!!!
C: I need a ubs.
M: A what?
C: A ubs cord
M: Oh, what kind?
C: The kind that transfers the ubs signal over protocols.
M: What?
C: I need a ubs cord.
M: What are you trying to do?
C: Hook my playstation up to my computer.
M: Why on earth would you want to do that?
C: To play my PS3 games on my computer.
M: That's impossible.
C: No it's not, my friend told me he did it.
M: Your friend is a liar.

lol that last one.. His friend is probably computer illiterate and doesn't realize that his TV (that he probably uses as a monitor) isn't the computer, and that he thinks he has hooked his PS3 up to his "computer."

I also have a computer shop and yeah the monitor thing happened to me once.

Got to love people who think the monitor is the computer itself, I wonder what they think the computer case is for.

Ugh, stuff like this really annoys me lol, I couldn't work in anything to do with IT just because of stupid people

The trick is to work in an IT department that doesn't work with the general public, you still have to deal with clueless managers but they tend to trust you while the general public will insist that they know best.
