Full View
So, last time we gave you a sneak peak at the future look of the site, as well as the ability to add live streams to your tournaments. Today I bring you the Full View, AKA: Brackets only, the stuff that counts.

Click that bad boy in the red circle and you get the following

But what really changed? Well, everything but the brackets is gone. Side-bar. Ads. Tournament banner and menu. BinaryBeast Logo. etc, etc. The brackets expand to fill theentire space of your browser.
And for those of you who want to take awesome a step further, use your browser's F11 function, and those brackets are now full screen
But, but, BinaryBeast, why would I use this?
Well in our minds the coolest way we want to see this used would be at a lan party. Just full screen the brackets on a projector, pow, giant display everyone can see. One of our goals is to eliminate the need for dry-erase+markers chalk board style from the prehistoric age of technology.
OK, we realize some tournaments and lans are just huge, and you won't be able to fit entire brackets on a single projector. But keep in mind using BinaryBeast also allows everyone to access the brackets themselves on the website, for larger lans - this means a smaller crowd of people only hovering around to learn about results because they can simply check the tournament themselves.
But, but, I'm not at a lan.
Even still it's nice to have Full View available just for browsing purposes. Maybe you don't need to use the menus at all and our logo makes you angry, well just swap to Full View and you get more of what you want to see, without the hate towards our blue, tournament-loving character.
Compacted vs Expanded Modes
Large tournaments are difficult to scroll through because so much space gets drawn between each player in the later rounds. The Compact view simplifies the brackets and removes extra space drawn between these players, making the later rounds entirely visible with next to no scrolling.
How to use: Simply click the top right button labeled "Compact" to collapse the brackets. To revert to the expanded view, simply click "Expand View" located in the same position

All About Names
We’ve discussed a bit how you can manipulate the brackets to adjust the way you see the players’ names organized, but what about the names themselves? Here’s a little intro on using some of the various name functions and how to display them - we’ll be using this season’s GSL brackets

(In this example we’ll be using player handle’s and their real names)
First, inputting names and their respective “network name”

(Admin’s view when editing a team)
Here you can see a few different fields to input player names...
Display name: The default name that will display for a player. When a player joins a tournament, the display name linked to his/her account is automatically used
Battle.net Character Code: This is the optional “network name.” It will be labeled differently based on what game the tournament is for. Players will be prompted to input a network name when joining a tournament for a game in which they have not yet set a network name (So you’ll only be asked once per game regardless of the number of tournaments you play in)
In the brackets you’ll of course see the display name by default. There are couple different ways to view a player’s network name.
You can click on the players name:

Fairly simple!
But what a pain that would be when you want to look at the majority of network names, you’d have to click each individual player to see it. A hah! There is a way around this, you might have noticed the “Toggle Names” button in the top right.

Clicking this will swap the display name and network name for all players - this will show their network names on the brackets themselves like in the following:

This function, of course, works in conjunction with the other viewing modes
Lastly, if you’re participating in a tournament - you’ll see your current opponents information in the top right near the other viewing options. It has the format: Username (Netowrk Name)
