They are asking us to always submit the form when doing a tournament, but does that include a mini-tournament between me and 3 friends? Does it include showmatches? What is a tournament according to blizzard standards? If me and 2 friends want to do a king of the hill do we need permission? What if it's a 8 person tournament that is streamed on ustream? How the heck do I know when I need to submit a form? Currently I am still waiting for permission to cast a $100 showmatch, and am interested in doing an 8 person tournament that is streamed. Do i need permission? Currently blizzard has made the definition of a tournament very fuzzy. What is a tournament?

Kennigit Canada19447 Posts October 31 2010 06:08 GMT #2 I think as soon as its sponsored with prizes it needs to be licensed. If you and 5 of your friends grab some beers and play a single elim tourny, obviously you dont need a license.

Chairman Ray United States11903 Posts October 31 2010 06:09 GMT #3 I believe you can host tournaments all you want, but if the prize pool is over a certain amount of money, then you have to get permission from blizzard. I dont know the exact amount though.
