Anyone else a little overwhelmed by the amount of games coming out this week?

After this mornings games (that I couldn't watch), I have 11 matches that I need to catch up on before I can watch any live ones. By the time I get home from school and start watching them, the midnight ones will have already started, and assuming I want to catch them in order, I'll have to wait for those VODs until I can watch the 6am ones, which will repeat the process again.

It's a good thing I have premium for VODs, but I preferred the GSL1 schedule over the GSL2. I know this is only for ro64, but still. I've kinda had to avoid Teamliquid in fear of spoilers, and it's depressing. I'm at school right now and its content-blocked (and I am a noob at proxying). Combined with the fact that I want to play some Fallout New Vegas, life is pain!

It's brutal. There isn't enough time to watch 7 hours of games a day, so I am just falling farther and farther behind as well. The weekend is going to need to be catch up time. Mostly I go to TL, click on the the recommended games tab and go from there. Oh and I always watch all zerg matches

Eventually I think they'll start broadcasting at ro32. I like the amount of games but I can see the commentators getting burnt out, and I think having afternoon & night games is a bit too much. I assume it's because last season took longer than it was meant to?

I think it's because in the later stages last season the players had almost no time between rounds to prepare new strategies for their opponents. This way they can space out the last few rounds so we might see better games later on.

I agree it's overwhelming, though. Best solution would probably be to have the whole tournament spread out more, but they want to have their three leagues finished before the end of the year so not much choice there.

I find the recommended games in the TL day threads to be most helpful in deciding what games to watch, although they may include spoilers I haven't seen any in the past two days of posts.

You got it easy. I'm a liquipedia editor and I get to see the results of all the games as people update the GSL page. I still haven't even seen any of the matches yet :<

That sucks tofu

@Kot, I find that I'm enjoying a lot of games with no-names. Some of them are kind of boring, obviously, but being as that SC2 is new, plenty of decent players haven't really earned their claim to fame yet. Watching everyone means I'll get to see some of these people progress in to potential superstars!

Yeah I give up on watching the round of 64. I'll pirate the good vods later but as for right now I just don't have the time to watch all of them.

Especially after watching such horrible games as fake boxer's series, it's just not worth it this early.

That said, I can't wait to read the battle reports when the writers finish them.
good vibes only

I just pick and choose what to watch, check the schedule and follow my few select players, trying to watch it all would be way too much for me.

don't worry about it too much. i've watched almost all of the games somehow while studying for two of my midterms this week. the premium is well worth it and 720p :D :D. After all, this is still the ro64, most of the games today weren't spectacular... mostly one sided with one guy making some big mistake and the other capitalizing on it. also, tastosis wasn't here .
