By no means am I a good player; I'm a casual low-level diamond (~700 in a league that was created a few days after release). You must, however, excuse me for laughing my head off when I came across this.
The matchup was PvP. Tired of fighting actual games, I decided to go for a DT rush. I put a pylon on my ramp to start a choke. I saw, however, a very early enemy scout and immediately my spidey senses tingled, "Cheese, cheese!"

I sent my scout at the regular time after my gateway had been placed. Lo and behold, he only had a pylon in his main!

Panic-stricken, I slammed down another gateway as fast as my little probe feet could permit me and braced for the worst.

A 2-gate proxy, as I had feared, but again I sensed that the gateways were a bit late for a 2-gate proxy since my 12 gate had already finished. This was when I first began to scratch my head.

Still scared, however, I pulled my probe back and mined those minerals as hard as I could. I sent my first (chrono boosted) zealot out and saw... a third gateway?

My confusion was only compounded when I saw a forge going down. A queer mix of fear and befuddlement overtook me.

Because I had microed with ten thumbs I was pushed back and had to use a probe drill to keep my front door. I stared at the pylon being warped in worriedly.

I charged up my void ray on a pylon and worried that stalkers would be coming out soon; cannons I could deal with, but stalkers just might have done me in.

I destroyed the cannons and zealots with ease, but still no stalkers came.

I destroyed the proxy. It was curiously quiet; I wondered to myself if perhaps he might have stalkers waiting at his base.
I flew three void rays over to his base and behold, a mass of cannons did I find.

My opponent concedes, "voids win," and leaves after I destroy his nexus.

Gentlemen, consider yourself warned of the 3-gate 1-forge cannon zealot rush proxy. You'll be able to say that you saw it here first once this build gets its way into the GSL.

Haha i love it when people whine about units that they can build themselves. Seems like a pretty expensive cheese tho, how could he make 3 gateways and a forge and still have enough cash to use them all?

Why did he even bother to get an assimilator? If he didn't have a Core and he was planning on sticking with Zeals and Cannons, what's the point? Silly Protoss players.

A close reading of this thread and scientific analysis of the pixels of the OP's pictures suggest that saying such was actually a statement of fact, due to how his base was completely owned by void rays.
