I made this song earlier today and took about 4 hours to complete it.
Imagine yourself as a mighty Protoss warrior beholding what used to be your home planet, now totally destroyed by hords of Zerg. All you can do is run and leave all behind. Your last chance at escaping the planet is being recalled by the last Arbiter that hasn't been destroyed yet. Of course you get the chance to slaugther some hydralisks and zerglings on the way with your manly psi blades.

Sounds good, keep on playing with it, thinking about what you could make different or better. Good foundation. I <3 fullon.
FL is a great tool but its hard to learn how to break the tools to make them do something unique and good. Thats been my trouble, translating the sound into my head into something in FL using the given tools which are "easy to learn hard to master".

nice work dude, it sounds pretty good, although your percussion was super-duper minimal; no crashes, no snare rolls, just the beat. You've got some great synth sounds in there. I must say though, the section at 2:23 was really weird... it sounds very whimsical because of the chromaticism in there. i don't know if you meant to do it or not but it sounds really out of place... there is no time for the circus on Aiur =P
Btw I use FL studio as well, you have FL 9? it looks cool.

I tried to include as less percussion as possible but enough not to make it way too boring. My idea was to use artificial / analog sounding bass and synths and percussion kinda takes that 'plastic' feeling away. I did use crashes, only inverted ones though.
And yes, that's FL9

As trance style music, I guess it is functional.
I like the section at 2:23 or so though, I wouldnt change it. It's nice to get something a bit more interesting to listen to. I mean, I know it's trance, but up until this point there hasn't really been any music..... just a texture.
ok 3:30 new idea is awesome ^_^ . I don't really like how you brought it in, it was really really generic but I really like how it slips and slides. Noooooooooooooooo the same bass is back. Fire the bass player.
breakdown at 4:50 is the highlight of the track so far. Digging this section. I like the new "robot" sort of sound at 5:40 it's nice to get some out of key notes.
Robbed of an ending! You just took all my music away and faded out!
I admire the hard work and could see people really liking this, but I feel you are acting a little to reserved. It seems like you have some great ideas that you let creep in but are to afraid of not sounding "in the genre" . This piece is just lacking a signature sound.

this is soooo legit! I could totally hear the sounds of escape especially towards the end. I think ella_guru said my thoughts best, i don't think that i liked the bass(i think its the bass). it kept coming back and it was boring to me. I need my music really fresh though.
More starcraft themed music yo! its totally fun if its not just the title
