So, for those of you who haven't been enamored with all of the new Starcraft 2 antics on TL, I thought I'd like to make a little brag blog to commemorate the start of the new Iccup season.
Before I go on to talk about my brag game, I thought I'd introduce myself since this is my first blog post. I've been hanging around TL for the last ~4 years essentially lurking ever since I got into SC:BW when my brother beat me 1v1 bgh w/ mass carriers when I was an innocent casual gamer.
It took me a long time to quit the whole bgh casual SC business, and I first got into competitive SC last year with all the quality TL coverage. I also laddered on iccup, but due to time constraints/lack of skill I only reached D+ before stopping.
I still play other games like DotA and CoD:MW with friends for the lols, but SC is my main competitive game. I had been playing it today, and I'm still avidly following ESPORTS and hoping it will outlast the current storm especially with the recent betting scandal and Blizzard fight with Kespa over IP. And I'm hoping to improve upon myself even if the BW scene implodes entirely and jumps over to the SC2 boat.
Anyhow, onto my 1st Iccup game of the season. I didn't know what to expect going into it.

This was a TvP on Destination. I had joined this game, and my opponent said absolutely nothing in the lobby. At the D level, this is a pretty clear sign something cheesy was going to happen.

GG - opponent ragequits
The joy of knowing that my opponent received his harsh trolling right back in his face, knowing that he quickly hit F10 + E + Q + Q, and knowing that he had been defeated by my own hand... those moments of shear joy are why I will always be a BW player. SC2 will be a great game, but BW moments like this. That's where it's at. That's where it has been. And that's where it will always be.

Good games! saving that 8k really paid off XD

Nice job. Never surrender! I can't remember how many game replays I've watched of my self GGing after one mistake or lost battle and saying "Wow, that was completely unnecessary."

Yeah it's actually F10 + E + S + Q, but Q+Q has that QQing effect. You know what I mean?

And nothing is sweeter than crushing the idiot who does it. Heres a game I just finished a few minutes ago. He offensive gg's but I sz my way back. It took me a while to realize it was an offensive gg. So right when I was about to say "was that an offensive gg", he left with his ee han timing CTRL QQ skills. It should have been an easy vitory for me but I misclicked and lost a bunch of lurkers xD.
Or I could have misinterpreted the whole thing..and he gg'd but refused to leave ..

Yeah, that looked like an offensive gg to me. Kinda strange tho, he seemed fairly manner earlier in the game. Good job coming back at the end btw.
