So I have been lately playing alot of Tekken 6 and more recently SSFIV. However, even tho my connection is decent )4mb dl speed and 512 upload) I have been experiencing lag when trying to play on PSN. I am almost red stats with most of the people outside of my region (Persian Gulf) but I don't lag bad with Europeans. I am not sure if its something I am doing wrong, or if my ISP is too weak or what is it. I am using a wireless connection however, the router is right next to the PS3 so I dont see any problem connection wise at least. Does anyone have any experience with problems like these on PSN and managed to solve them?

Wireless shouldn't be a problem. I've never noticed any additional lag cause of wireless internet. Perhaps more difficulty in setting it up properly but no problems once it's set.

It has to be the area you are in. I almost never have this problem on PSN.

Yeah I would guess so, need better infrastructure. But oh well I love this place :3! SC2 doesn't lag so props to that ^^!

If the router is right next to the PS3, why not just wire it? Wired is always going to be better than wireless. Granted that won't give you a huge improvement, but it should probably help at least a little. Also depending on who you play against can determine how strong your connection is. If you're playing with someone halfway across the world, of course you're going to have a bad connection. Since I'm too lazy to look up the location of your country(I've never even heard of it, no offense ), I wouldn't be able to speculate much on that. Also the servers of certain games are TERRIBLE, and both of those games that you've mentioned I've heard are extremely notorious for lag. Hopefully though it'll clear up for you!
