This is completely enough to be good on the dancefloor. Girls don't expect you to be really good on the dancefloor so if you don't freak them out you are good to go. However there are some extra things you can do if you are confident enough and get positive body language from her. What girls don't expect is that you will take the initiative. This is where I can use my pro skills the most, not that I know any particular dance moves, but that I can take initiative. This requires some skill, but is not that hard to pick up. Remember I mentioned how to follow her. Now if you can carefully reverse the roles it is going to score you huge points and you become the most wanted guy on the floor :D. It's a bit delicate, but if you have a good sense of rythm and practice you can get a grasp of it. Also some small things to do once you get a positive response from her. If she is wearing jeans and you are dancing face to face, slide the hands from the waist into her back pockets. Turns them on fire. Dancing back to back, keep one hand on the waist while using other to slowly slide your fingertips up her leg all the way to the chest, sloooowly. There are many other, so just be confident. Learn to follow and observe her reactions and once you are comfortable get the lead. Once you mastered that you can experiment with all the little touches and stuff. Good luck! | ||

eventually I became legitimately awesome at it, like rest of the dancefloor stops dancing to form a semicircle around me clapping me on awesome. im sure to some some degree this happened because I have a semblance of natural rhythm and a complete willingness to embarass myself, but also largely just because I kept dancing. first 10 times people told me I was great I thought they were joking tho. and grinding is dumb but I guess it can be fun. | ||

I didn't say it was the main form of dancing. I said it in the context that those criteria are really the only exceptions to where it should be happening. It happens at clubs too where people are easy, but generally it is NOT the main form of dancing, anywhere. | ||
