[CSL] UOttawa vs Duke

Set1: Simon vs Bisu (HBR)

Simon spawned on the left hand side of HBR, whereas, Bisu spawned on the right hand side. The game began and there was much banter back and forth between the two schools as to who would be the Eastern Champs. Surely they were deluded to some fantasy that they could POSSIBLY win... Anyway, back to the game, Bisu started to probe harass as simon JUST BARELY walled in before the probe could do any "real" damage... or so we thought. The probe harassed and harassed, who knew that these guys were actually ringers and hustlers in Duke using real pro gaming koreans as smurfs!? All in all, the probe delayed the barracks almost double the time to make and killed one scv. Despite all this, Simon defended well with 4marines after Bisu attacked with 2 goons. Bisu then added a 2nd gateway, (going for a 2 gate goon expand I guess) and simon had a DEVIOUS plan to do a 3fact all in. His plan was perfect really, but that delay in the first factory proved to be too great a task to overcome. As well as he tried there was only 1 real battle and it was about 160 to 90 food 1a2a3a Bisu move for the win. HOWEVER, Simon sneezed on Bisu's face and DID NOT apologize (Who is the real victor? I'm thinking 1-0 uOttawa).

1-0 Duke (THOSE BASTARDS!)

Set2: Storklos vs Flash (Match Point)

Storklos spawned bottom left and Flash spawned top right. Storklos had a pretty simple plan, own Flash in the most BM way possible and get some OGN Live TV time while he was at it! Continuing onward, it was a 1 fact FE from Storklos, while Flash was up to his no good dirty all in tactics again going 2 fact speed vulture+Mines. The fool (Flash of course) got deflect with EASE, I would call it the perfect defense of Storklos, unfortunately, The follow up tanks did delay the expansion a little longer than we liked and Flash caught up with an expansion of his own. After that, Storklos was still slightly ahead and opted for 2 starport without cloak. Flash went for a 4factory and overreacted placing down about 6-7 turrets when seeing 4-5 uncloaked wraiths in his expansion. Storklos decided to be a little too aggressive costing him a little bit of map position but getting his third before Flash evened things out a little, then the unthinkable happened. Flash kicked it into high gear with some dropships and multiple expands. Storklos fought as bravely as simon and even managed to defend some nice drops but in the end Flash and the bribes to the CSL officials were too great an adversary to overcome.

Set3: Boo-b vs Stork (Not storklos but the real stork) (Destination, ironic? Our destination was not meant to be)

Boo-b, aka "chef"? I guess... Anywho he managed to devise this ultimate strategy that worked well in theory and in practice. (Also unfortunately was a little common to the iccup scene where he has been absent from for a long time) So... Boo-b spawns on top and Stork spawns on the bottom of destination. The game was fairly short, an early pylon and ...FORGE!? oh my goodness gracious that was something of a surprise, I thought I just saw a f... it's a forge! Boo-b indeed made a forge and headed towards Stork's main, placing 1 pylon (poorly for a manner pylon, or was it?) on the bottom mineral patch with INTENT to set up an evil simcity where units could not reach between the bottom of the map using a few buildings to block. This is where the black-out occurs and MBC declares that Stork was ahead for some reason and called the game in their favour... WTF!? Seriously I think this was the most BS official game called in history, a guaranteed 100% strategy only to lose to a disconnect from MBC stream.

So, there you have it, those were the unfortunate results... Oh and Thratur of course was there for intimidation factor (They actually didn't show until 8:29 because Thratur had to goto the bathroom AT THAT TIME!!! They are so lucky)
