since i bought my PS3 when i had SC, i didnt buy many games for it and same goes for PSP because i never found anything that interested me in 2007-2009. So im asking Teamliquid for help! I need new games to buy in the near future. I have an infinite game taste so i wont turn down anything! Games i already have and like:
PSP: Midnight Club 3 Dubbed Edition (Sick racing game that tires you if your stuck) GTA Liberty City (First game i bought. fuck yea fun as hell till you beat it.) NBA2k10 (Pretty simple Basketball game. nonetheless, fun to play over the other nba 2010 games?)
PS3: Resident Evil 5 (I lost it before i reached the 3rd level t_t. People say the action begins around the 3rd level so fuck D: My first RE game and i guess it was a great experience) MGS4 (I borrowed it from my friend and if you dont have it, let me tell you it was hard on easy. fuck lol) Saint Row 2 (Sorta overhyped i guess but i enjoy the huge city [The only thing i hate about Liberty City is the.. small.. city..] and killing people with mah cheats and doing missions occasionally)
My very small library of games puts me to shame so pleaaaase list anygames that you enjoy or is enjoyed by alot of people.

for PS3, there's a bunch of exclusives that ppl rated high :s Rachet & Clank, infamous, killzone, etc. I haven't played any of them tho lol
I've played MSG4 and found it ridiculously boring (or hard, I suppose) The only 2 games I have for ps3 (haha I have less than you) are MSG4 and GTrologue 5. Looooove GT Prologue. Can't wait for the actual game to come out You can't enjoy a racing sim without a good wheel though. It's a pretty hefty investment.

MGS4 is excellent, but probably primarily for those who have been playing the series already. If you haven't played the series, I highly recommend it!
As for the games, any in particular you enjoy? (genre-wise)

Valkyria Chronicles is pretty much a must have for PS3. And you can get it new for $20, so there is absolutely no reason you should pass it up.

Infamous is a really good game, same with killzone 2 and Resistance 1/2.
don't own a PSP, only game I have played for that is Final Fantasy Crisis Core, which if you like Final fantasy, it was an amazing game I found
*edit* oh and I forgot about Little Big Planet. That's a pretty cool game for Ps3 (or psp)

lol. Im not going to be some hardcore shooter and neglect SC! im going to use it as a party game or something since my wireless router doesnt work

fat princess bomberman Uncharted 2 Super Street Fighter IV soon

I heard the new Final Fantasy game was pretty good, if you like RPGs. I also heard Heavy Rain had a very unique gaming experience, so you may want to check that out as well.

Resident Evil 5 was fucking horrible garbage.
God of war collectors edition and God of War 3 are a must have.

You can DL PSone games off playstation network and add them to your PSP. FF7 would be worth it and the older Resident Evil games or even Metal Gear Solid.
As for just PS3 games Metal Gear solid if you're up to date on the story from the other games is simply amazing if you're a fan. Infamous I thought was a pretty fun game and had decent re playability. Resident Evil 5 was pretty bad unless you have someone to play it with you. My brother and I plowed through it together usually drinking some beers or something THAT made it fun. I really enjoyed Heavy Rain, but even with all the endings I don't know how many times you'll really want to replay it and the game is not long at all. I DO NOT enjoy the new FF at all. It could be just me, but the first... 16-20hrs is so linear and so so sooo boring. I don't really like the dialogue and don't really care for the story either. I may be in the minority on this one, but do some serious research before you consider getting this game at all, but I think the best bet is to rent it or get it from gamefly.

God of War 3 is out, right?

Wouldn't it be awesome for them to make some FF games that are like Heavy Rain in that the options you choose steer your gameplay? (If they haven't done it already, I have no idea. Haven't played one in a while).
And yes, to reiterate, MGS is a GREAT storyline.

Don't care if they're exclusive:
MGS4 Modern Warfare (both) Grand theft auto 4 Assassin's creed games Final fantasy Burnout: Paradise Dead space Little big planet Demon's souls God of war Resistance (both) Fallout Oblivion The orange box Ninja gaiden sigma (both) Resident evil
Fuck there are so many I'm sure I'm forgetting some but all of those I have played at least to some extent and they were all fun as hell.

Gran Turismo 5... THE best racing simulator in the world. 1000+ cars on like 80+ tracks, with physical damage and mechanical damage. That is f*cking intense
