so if you play standard you can't scout inside your base? or defend a D- players rush? that's your own newb fault, you're just bad so stop complaining or just uninstall. IM VERY sick of blogs like this I just had to vent, when I was a D player I NEVER complained and I got B- within 2 seasons in under 60 games, it's not the fact that you're losing to cheese it's just you have no idea what to do when something isn't fast expand. | ||

This post is just trolling you, I would just ignore it. This is your blog, and you have the right to complain about things, so long as it's within reason (which it totally is). I can see why you would start getting upset having someone come into your own blog and start trolling you like crazy. Seriously, why tell him to uninstall the game? Your type of posts are what bring upon all the TL.net stereotypes. As for your pain with iccup, just try and move past it. I think if you took a few weeks and focused solidly on the first initial 8-10 minutes of the game, you will more than likely improve alot. Finding a specific aspect, and spending quality time fixing it will usually yield good results. For example, load the replays where you are beaten by these builds, and watch the mistakes you make. Did you forget to scout properly? Were any units late? Did you miss a supply depot by accident? how did you guage his tech? etc. Write down some of the flaws you see in your replays, and take the time to fix each one. This could be as easy as post-it notes on the side of your monitor telling you to not forget scvs/supply depots, or you could even go as far as having a friend sit next to you, and remind you of ceertain things. Like supply/scvs/scouting etc. Next, find a few replays of decent players coming up against these same sort of build orders, and watch how they react, and defend. Take that knowledge and apply it to your gamestyle and you should improve quite a bit. Overall, taking an active roll in your progress is what will be the first kickstart you need. Most people just assume they need to continue mass gaming, without actually sitting back and changing various aspects of their game. So, find the flaws, slowly fix them, and you will be C- in no time! GL! | ||

D- players like me will always ONLY play UMS at the start of the season to not get stomped by players who are like B and wants to ladder their way up | ||

For the OP, I sympathise. But really you just need to improve. There is no reason why you can't scout that early rush and make a build that counter it. If there ever is anything so obvious and formulated in starcraft then it's scouting early all-ins and blocking it. | ||
