R1CH is incredible. He is probably my favourite person on TL. This blog provides all the reasons I'd ever need for such a statement.
My personal favourite is the anti-aliasing thing. Had me in stitches for a good 5 minutes after reading it.

This is totally random, and I know nothing about CS, but I arbitrarily looked at the bottom of the two different "second connections" (in "why isn't this working"), and I think the difference between the two is that:

The first's (which is broken) "second connection" ends with:

$D...L..........]..^.I.....`......
..^.I.N..un'
.k......k

while the second's (which is working) "second connection" ends with:

$D...M..........]...
I.....z......&...

I don't know why...I just checked and although everything else hurts my head, I noticed that the two end differently for some reason O_O; ._.
