~ I got a new student. His name is 이한 (L)ee han. Every time someone says his name I have to bite back the urge to yell 'timing!'
I think I would have the same problem too hahaha

I was made blue AND I thought of some cool ways to analyze data from last year's winner's league for proleague coverage.
I also took an amazing nap sitting on the couch while looking at the frozen lake.

I went to get breakfast in sunny San Diego with my friend and his gf.
We played a little game to see who had to pay the bill, and of course, I lost as usual.
I put an 100$ bill into the check. for our 61$ bill.
The waitress brought the check back and said thank you very much and I thanked her in return.
I opened up the change and to my surprise there was only 29$ change instead of 39$.
I immediately called her back as she was walking around and said to her in a very disgruntled tone "uhhh you know giving the wrong amount of change isn't the best way to get a tip."
She profusely apologized and I cut her off and said "hurry just bring 10 more, we gotta go."
She came back and gave the 10$ with puppy dog eyes which I purposely avoided to make her think I was pissed off then she walked away.
I then left the entire 39$ as a tip and we left before she came back to claim her tip.
Who knows if it made her day or not...but my best bet is it did. Didn't exactly make my day, though it wasn't a bad start.

Spinach is better! Spinach does all-kill, celery does not.

So in the spirit of IMMD I was wondering what things made peoples' days recently? Despite some epic neck pain (I can barely move my head and coughing hurts so much), for me it was the following today;
You can't help yourself o_o

I went to this band night in a pub yesterday. My bro's school organized it for all their students to perform 3 or 4 songs. The theme was Rock but there weren't that many band that actually had some balls. I got particularly annoyed at a guitarist who, while tuning, tried to get some laughs from the crowd by playing random Maiden and Slayer riffs but then did a shitty performance. Some bands were ok good, but overall it was meh. The last band opened up with a Ska-version verse of Muse's Hysteria before kickin in the real thing. For the solo the guitarist threw his guitar over his head and played it quite perfectly with his axe in his neck. This all whille keeping his hat on. IMMD

Luxembourg was totally awesome, and while I was there I regained the awesome feeling I had a couple weeks ago just after I landed in Europe and started walking around Paris.
Yesterday I was on the metro, and a random girl with a large suitcase came up to me and asked for directions. She asked me in french whether I spoke english just like I ask people all the time here: badly. Yes! I responded, I'm from New Zealand!
She was from Canada, and we got to talking. We had to part ways eventually, but she gave me her number! I don't think i'll ever ring her, because I can't afford the roaming costs and i'm not planning on staying in Brussels much longer... but it was a very nice feeling. Never got a random girl's number before.
EDIT: Nice idea for a blog
