I've landed myself in a tough situation and need to make a grave(?) apology. Are there components that I should include, like admission of fault, possible explanations, and some proper begging? blah. Thanks, the apology will be to a teacher if that will help.    | ||

But really, as minus_human said, just be sincere. This is probably the most important thing that should come across to the person you're apologizing to. | ||

I remember when I made my teacher throw a chair at me back in middle school from which she got fired. So I dunno, anything less severe should be pretty easy to handle. | ||

We really need to know who you are apologizing to. as in what is the overall theme, and if it's someone you are intimate with, a judge, boss, colleague, or friend. | ||

I am writing this letter to address the issue which arose last week during class. PS If you're not really sorry for what you did, like you're only apologizing for damage control purposes or are being solely fueled by guilt (guilt=/=sincere sorrow), it's pretty easy for someone to tell your apology is shit, no matter what formula you use. So, if you're not sorry, don't bother. | ||

I don't know if I am feeling sorrow, but the situation calls for some kind of formal talks; I am quite feeling guilty though. I'm not asking for a formula, but being a rather antisocial (don't know the word here) makes me say stupid things; I told someone that women should be discriminated when what I meant is that people should acknowledge the differences, etc. What a day that was. Thanks for the help guys. | ||

Being socially awkward you're probably coming off as an asshole, but you're teacher should've noticed this after spending time teaching you and should understand. Show that you're not completely indifferent and it should be ok, imo... unless you fell asleep on his cat and suffocated him in the process or something; in that case, get him a new cat, ok? | ||
