I currently like that choice, I may end up using it. o.o
A quick edit: I just got done testing a random background image and found out a really high resolution will lag weak computers and would like to sacrifice viewing quality for maximum playing quality, what program do you guys recommend I resize the images with?

Photoshop would be easiest; paint can do the job too, anything works really.
