Anyways his defilers are SO GOOD!!! holy shit!! I've seen alot of people throw down 2 swarms (Jaedong for instance) and maybe swarm THEN a plague. But KONG opt to throw plauge first then swarm. IMO this is far superior as the units will be clumped for the plague, whereas if you swarm THEN plague, the terran will already be retreating and you won't catch any. Just watch the game and see how brutal it is, each time a plague go off it catches EVERYTHING underneath it, none of it is wasted. It's like a good storm. And even if the units retreat a bit out of the swarm range it doesn't even matter as the 1hp units simply pops like bubbles.
Any thoughts? I've yet to see people throw plague/swarm in such fashion and so deliberately. If you watch the mid-game battles almost 80% of the defilers engagement was plauge->swarm order.
Something that comes to mind is that if you get the swarm is likely more essential than the plague. So making sure you get the swarm off before the defiler dies and then going for a plague may be a safer option. Also, how good is plague if you don't follow up with attacking the units? Plague + swarm then just defending under the swarm while the terran runs away for example. How much damage has the plague done? It hasn't helped your defense really because you have the swarm anyways. It will deplete medic energy, so thats good and plaguing vessels and tanks and clearly good, but if its just mnm is it worth it?

Yes it's worth it vs just mm...how they gonna kill the defiler if it's just mm? That's what vessel is for. Then they just consume 2 lings and they're good to go again.

Yellow was so ridiculously ahead by the mid game, Yellow could have pretty much done anything, especially not surprising considering Yellow was looking to keep Boxers army very small rather than try to dominate with map control (considering he already had it considerably). Boxer did a good job of holding onto his third, but really, yellow had that game won by 13 minute mark.
