I play Rofl? wc3 engine is the main reason why dota fucking sucks. And the graphics look almost the same as wc3 except it's got a very minor improvement. It still looks all blocky and polygon'd. It's just brighter and smooths it out a little. My friend who plays dota and now hon had the LoL beta and he literally played for 5 minutes and said this game fucking blows. The main reasons it sucked were: can't deny kills, minimap and UI is all out of place, the shit looks all cartoony- like for kids or something. Like seriously, how can you TAKE AWAY gameplay depth and call the game better? | ||

No current professional dota players have made any attempt to switch over to this game due to the lacking competitive value. It can't be argued. The large battle have too much asthetic value, similar to, surprise, WOW. Don't get me started on how little skill wow takes. End all be all: No high skill dota players ever switched to Hon. It has no competitive value. The fog and numbers system is also a wreck in HoN. | ||

Whatever DotA doesn't have, HoN has such as leaver protection, no whole game lag (if you lag, only you will be affected), etc. And League of Legends is not good and I dunno why people say it is... As for the DotA community, it is like the CS 1.6 and the CS:S community. A lot of CS 1.6 players didn't want to try out CS:S because they were afraid of change and never gave it more time to get used to it. The difference between the 2 games is that CS:S straight up sucked while HoN turned out to be really good for a beta. Once the final release is out, HoN will continue to get better and will attract more DotA players if they are willing to put effort into the game. | ||
